Dingler, anyone?

Where can Dingler snuffs be purchased right now? I have read several a review and would like to try a couple of these, but I cannot seem to find anyone who has them in stock. Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase some Dingler snuff??

Snuffstore.de in Germany, mysmokingshop.co.uk in the UK (look Swedish Match there).

Thanks Uwe.

Unfortunately, neither store will allow for US purchases to be easy: ‘snuffstore.de’ will not allow US sales at all, while the other–‘mysmokingshop.co.uk’-- will not allow US purchases with a credit card. That pretty much just keeps me from buying from them. Mailing them a payment (cashier’s check) and then waiting on the order itself is just too much waiting over all. I guess I’ll have to try Dingler when Mr. Snuff or Snuffstore gets a bead on their supply. Thanks for the effort Uwe! If anybody else has another purchasing avenue here, I’d love to hear another option. Thanks.

@SCasey look at Snuffstore.co.uk under South African Snuff. Taxi snuff is Dingler, and Magnet if they have any. I think I read somewhere that Magnet has been discontinued, don’t know if this is the case though. Stefan

Thanks. I hadn’t yet realized that Dingler made Taxi, although I was close to putting that together. …and Snuffstore still has Magnet presently.

I smoke Dingler’s pipe tobacco. Don’t spend to much energy to find Dingler’s snuff, not really worth it. It’s roughneck stuff made in SA for the locals who will snuff horse dung too, if they can find it in a tin.

Personally, I quite like Dingler Magnet Menthol - all the while wholeheartedly agreeing with @PieterClaasen’s analysis =)

Perhaps, but I will always have some Taxi Red in my collection. The Magnets, I don’t love.

@Pieter Claassen Thanks. Nice to know. Just saw some good reviews of a certain menthol of thier’s and thought I might give it a shot. I’m not remembering at the moment exactly which one it was. May have been Taxi Red fir all I know. I do though remember that the name ‘Taxi’ was not mentioned. However, I do like the reviews of Taxi Red that I’ve seen that @Xander mentioned. I will give that a shot along with perhaps some ‘NTSU’, I believe it is.

@SCasey, Taxi Red and NTSU are two snuffs which are unique as far as I’m concerned. You NEED it in your collection. I love Taxi Red mixed with a bit of Toque Peach, it’s one of my standard blends. The rest of SA’s snuffs are…bollie!! Google “bollie” and you’ll see what I mean.

Thanks.

@PieterClaassen, i seem to recall a post in which you admited to dumping said snuffs into you yard, to reuse the containers. A travisty, i say.

Pot Poe, yes I buy LOTS of Taxi snuff and dump it to use the boxes. It’s so cheap, $0.58 a “tin” for me, that it’s the cheapest snuff boxes I can lay my hands on. And those boxes last for ever and a day. So, although Taxi and NTSU are unmatched in the world of snuff I want the boxes more than I want the snuff!!!

Wow, that is cheap. Could you at least start filling a bottle w/the “waste”, and chuck it into the ocean when its handy, at least it would have a fighting chance.

I’ve given my comments above some thought and just want to make sure that I’m not misunderstood. By saying Taxi and NTSU “is unmatched in the world of snuff” I certainly do not mean it’s the best! All I’m saying is that I don’t know of any other snuff like that, good or bad!!!
