Before i purchase bulk and invest in mason jars for storage, can anyone give me an idea about storage capacity? How much snuff can a 4 oz mason jar hold? These are the tiny ones. Im thinking about 50g of snuff. Does this sound right?

Yea…I have a bunch of 2 oz glass jars and they hold 25g tins with maybe another 5 grams of room left. Samuel Gawith 25g snuffs tho fill right to the top then I just compact it down by pushing it with my thumb to get the whole 25 grams in. But yea 4oz jars will hold 50 grams

It’s been a while since I bought bulk but I kind of remember a half pint mason (8 0z.) almost fit my 100 g pouch of Poschl . I bought Toque Quit in 800 gram bulk and I just remember filling different size jars, laughing to myself, drooling…it’s kind of a blurr now, but I remember being very happy as I was doing it.

I just got a shipment of 12 4oz mason jars. They did not have them at my local wal-mart. These jars a great and perfect safe storage for snuff. They are compact and don’t take up much room. I don’t have enough snuff to fill them yet, but that will be remedied in the coming month.
