The oddest thing happens on occasion when I’ve been using 6 photo super chetak or motia. Awhile after I’m walking around the house checking corners of rooms and asking my wife if she smells dog doo. It seems to be an after scent because initially I don’t detect it. It’s not my dogs passing gas either because my wife detects that smell better than I do. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve gotten a barnyard background note from quite a few snuffs, but the chetak overwhelmed me with it. I could hardly snuff super chetak without being blasted with dung and now that I think about it, it was more like a dog’s than a cow’s. I can take a little barnyard in the background of special or in dr Rumney’s, but there’s a sharpness to the dung odor in chetak.

I haven’t tried chetak, but I got Dholakia (She) jasmine yesterday and I hated it. It had the aroma of cow dung. I thought I would go back to it later on, but again all i detected was overpowering aroma of cow dung. Then I could not get rid of that smell, no matter what other snuffs I sniffed. So I used a neti pot and stuck to menthols for most of the rest of the day. I was really disappointed as I like most of the other Dholakia ones I have like Ganga & Kamal and their Sandalwood is sublime, but this was just yuk. I use Motia often, and I love it. I don’t get anything other than a pleasing aroma. Definately no doggy doo smell for me with that.

Odd, I don’t get that from Super Chetak at all.

I get it a little with Super Kailash. Very seldom, but often enough to notice. But since I quit smoking I smell all kinds of stuff I never noticed before. Most of it is not good smells.

I had to punish myself for overindulging in snuff today, so after reading the above comments, I cut open the little paper envelope with the intensely disturbing cancer warning graphic and took a sniff. Yup. I got the dog poop smell, but as mentioned above it came awhile after the initial earthy, musky dark flavor. I think there may be a reason that Mr. Snuff is giving this one away as a freebie with a $75.00 order… 1 out of 5 stars; I’m looking for a plastic bag and my pooper-scooper… yuck. I wonder if airinng this one out will help at all, or if it will be doomed to smell like dog excrement for the rest of its cursed life.
