Dholakia White

Like a lot of people here I tried Dholaka White as a sample before it came on sale. I didn’t think much more about until I started looking for a fine snuff to go in a bullet (newer snuffers; you get a better pinch in a bullet from fine snuff due to the smalll dosing chamber). So, I ordered 50g from Mr Snuff and loaded up a standard Dholakia type bullet. The results were pretty outstanding: this is probably the closest pinch of snuff Ive ever head to a pull on a cigarette. Im a heavy tobacco user and still felt a buzz. The combination of bullet and this hyper dry snuff is, I think, exceptional. I actually find the snuff fairly flavourless but in terms of delivering mother N its a superb combination, and the bone dryness of it is very head clearing.

You are right! And for some reason it’s more easy to keep in too  Still gives me tears in my eyes though…

I mixed up some D-White and ONG today just for laughs. I rarely mix snuffs; just not a mixer for some reason, but I couldn’t resist trying this. I was not disappointed. I did 50/50 but frankly a would say about 70% D-White vs 30% ONG would be even better. Dave

ONG? = McC’s?

OMG

yep McC Original and Genuine. Good stuff.

Dave, at least you still have your personal stash of D-White…when you getting some more 200g tubs I’m out?

@Shooter: ahh yes, sorry, that was a little mean. Partaking of my D-Lite-fully large personal stash of the D-White. Do I have Good news? Oh yes! I filled in a bunch of customs forms Friday. Filled in a couple of broker forms. Handed over my CC info to the broker. Worked out transportation from airport to warehouse. So if all these things fall smoothly into place, and customs are nice…then I am thinking it will be back in stock by say Wednesday or Thursday this week. Dave

Im mixing d white with equal parts fubar r and r and sparrow cool, used in a bullet its great, the d white provides the strength, the sparrow keeps the sinuses clear and the r and r gives a beautiful background flavour.

Dave still has 8 50 gram and 25 25 gram tubs in stock.

@Dave, any chance of talking you out of a 500g tub this time? Are you getting Grunt along with that shipment? If so put my dibs on 200g of each!!! @thatjerk, thanks I had seen the small quantities but at the rate I use it they go to fast and there is a small upcharge on the smaller packaging.

Just got done reading the reviews of DhoWhite on snuffreviews.com. All I can say is why would anyone want to have a fish smelling snuff up their nose? Yuck. That along with the pain and difficulty of taking it just doesn’t make sense to me. Seems to me those that like it only like it for the nicotine hit. I personally like snuff for personal enjoyment and a pleasant aroma or menthol blast if thats what Im in the mood for. The nicotine is just a great side effect for me. I dont see myself personally ever getting DhoWhite but to each their own. What pleases me and my reasons for snuff are most likely not like yours so I guess it goes back to the … snuff what you like and like what you snuff saying.

I mix DW with the other dholakias, 50 / 50, it’s the perfect solution for me.

I just ‘grin and bear it’!

The only reason I bought it was to say i tried it. I was new to snuff and had only had 2 other kinds and wanted to see if I could do it. It works better than a menthol at opening a clogged up sinus imo. Its probably my fave snuff

I only use Dholakia White to mix with other snuffs. It adds no discernible scent, but adds a major kick of nicotine.

I was curious to try D-White based on the reviews alone. It wasn’t that I wanted something fishy up my nose (lol) but that I wanted something different. It sounded unique, and it sure is. I don’t really notice a fishy smell, more of a creamy taste but it definitely has some unique flavor to go a long with its unique grind and color. I’ve mixed it with O&G, President, etc, to take the difficulty out of snuffing it. Its a good mixer. I’d suggest that you not write it off entirely based on the couple of reviews stating is smelled fishy, snuffnpuff. I can see where it could remind some people of fish/shrimp but I think that has more to do with a certain saltiness in it. It’s good stuff to have for when (if you ever) you’re craving a good nicotine kick or for when you just want a unique snuff that is nothing like your typical grind and flavors. I mix snuffs a lot and its definitely an ingredient I use quite a bit, so you could say that its an important ingredient in any snuff-mixing chefs kitchen.

I mix D white with Fubar Grunt…call it coconut shrimp!

I only have a small 10g of Grunt that I received from Mr.Snuff about a month ago and as much as I’ve tried, I cannot detect any coconut in this snuff at all. From what I’ve read, this is one of those snuffs that vary from batch to batch. The Grunt I have is good, it reminds me of their Swiss Chocolate snuff only with less chocolate and more tobacco, like a cigar. I kind of wish there was some coconut in there to make it a bit more unique but its still good as is. One of these days I’ll order a trial size of their coconut toffee ( i think thats what its called?) to try that out.

I love D white as a quick pick me up… I do detect a slight fishiness which I actually like. The reviews on snuffreviews turned me off a bit as well but I take opinions with a grain of salt. I’m going to try that 50/50 with grunt sounds like a neat experience.
