How about gently placing a layer of white over a pinch of black and calling it Guinness?
Oh, and “Guinness is good for you”. Doh…not allowed to say that any more. “Guineless is bad for you”…how’s that?
The Dholakia website says that the white snuff is tobacco free. Not nicotine free mind you. Sorry if I am a little behind on trying new products. I’m still working on the old standards.
I don’t believe it’s tobacco free.
where do you see that. I looked at the site and don’t see anywhere that the white is tobacco free.
Guess that just about sums it up then!! Still going to try some for myself! The Wiz!
I suppose depending on the definition of tobacco free that you could yield a nicotine snuff from tobacco using a certain “recipe”. Just as mint can yield menthol yet menthol is not mint. Certainly very interesting indeed.

Maybe they use tomato leafs! Or weed…
I believe they are referring to a white snuff they have made for a long time when they say tobacco free, not the new Dholakia White that is so popular overseas. Wilson and several other companies make a white tobacco free snuff also.
The new Dholakia White is not like the tobacco free white snuffs other places make at all. To me, this just has to be tobacco, and if not, I am really curious what it is, because it is not glucose at all. I think it is tobacco, 95% sure of myself. If it wasn’t, the can would say Tobacco Free and not have a warning.
I agree, I’m sure they’re referring to a different product.
Besides, it smells and tastes of tobacco.
And there is a picture of a tobacco leaf on the label!
Let’s ask Namrata. I’ve sent Namrata an email and asked her to please post her reply here.
hello guys!!!wish you all happy and happening new year. well it was so sweet of my friend pieter to mail on behalf of all snuff lovers. thanks pieter! Dholakia White Snuff is super fine dry tobacco snuff powder made as per age old indian tredesional receipe. it gives quick and strong nicotine hite very popular overseas. yes we do have herbal non tobacco snuff—which is made out of pure indian herbal ingrediances…which has no warning or tobacco indication on the pack!
Thank you Namrata for responding straight away!
I may have missed it, wouldn’t be the first time. How predominant is the scent in either the Black or White? Would either be a reasonably “neutral” snuff to use as a mix with something like, say, Toque Peach or WoS choc/orange as example, to kick up the nic content without skewing the original aroma?
I don’t think I’d call either one “neutral”. They both are pretty strong flavors, and hard to describe. Dholakia Sparrow is pretty neutral though, I’d say.
