I’m currently awaiting a Mr. Snuff order and my curiosity finally got the best of me. I ordered Taj because I liked other Dholakia snuffs. My question is what is it like? There aren’t any reviews on it on snuff reviews and it’s never mentioned anywhere.
It’s kinda sweet in a fig like way, might have a very minute menthol, but maybe not, it just seems super slight coolness to me. It’s pretty good, I think, and easy to take.
Cool. I fell in love Dholakia Sparrow non-menthol, so I wanted some other plain Dholakia snuffs.
There is something like menthol in it, if not menthol. The light coolness fades quickly though. The scent for me changes from incense, to cologne, to perfume, to baby powder… My girlfriend could smell it from my nose and thought I got new deodorant or something. I thought that was hilarious - she said she liked it! It’s strong smellin stuff. Not bad, but I prefer Kailash. Going on a date? Dholakia Taj.
Taj is a black exotic indian snuff . Similar to 6 Photo black snuffs with it’s decongestant action. I like the 6 photo best. Taj has more of a lakeland scent for those familiar with that term ,those not think soap. It a great snuff very different than the rest of the Dholakia line. The menthol is one that works. I never had rebound congestion from using it unlike other menthols that open you up and then clog your nose shut. I glad to see it offered in larger tubs. This snuff I presume because it is oiled; the exotic scent last a great while.Make sure you have a dark hanky on hand if the fluids start to flow.
Not my favorite snuff. I don’t like that incense/soapy/baby powder smell…it was a little bit like being stuck in a new age hippy bookstore, and not being able to find the exit.
Because of the long-lasting smell, there was nothing I could do to get it out of my nose. LOL. I mean, nothing. I was still catching hints of it the next day and really hating it.
Obviously, personal preference is a big part of snuff choices. Dholakia Taj was not something I will do again. It is weird. I actually love incense, but I seem to absolutely hate the incense-like snuffs.

@jazzi_mike This one is pretty far from plain, but you may find it a nice surprise.
I enjoy this one a lot and I’d recommend it to anyone who digs 6 Photo Kailash or Special. It’s similar, but still it’s own thing. I get an incense/spicy smell and some tastefully employed menthol, but not much in the way of soap or baby powder. I also get a very distinct cola note from it as well (although it took me forever to place it).
I also seem to recall someone once opining that it smelt like an exotic stripper. I don’t know if I’d say that exactly, but…
LOL. With that in mind, maybe I should give it another try. :-)

Shavasana, I also saw that review on Mr.Snuff. “topless dancers in a lap dance club” =)) I’m guessing that’s what Paul Shallbetter was poking fun at with his YouTube review of Dholakia Taj.
