Medium coarse and medium moist, easy to take. This is definitely the strongest smelling and most persistent snuff I have ever tried. I met with a friend and had been snuffing the Taj. He asked me which perfume I’m wearing and kept insisting he smells perfume after I told him I’m not wearing any. I opened my tap box and it turned out he was smelling the Taj! That’s how strong it is. I find the scent pleasantly exotic. First thing I get in the nose is a floral aroma with a tiny bit of menthol or camphor. It provides a slight cooling sensation and almost immediately disappears. After a while, the smell becomes a lot more complex, I start getting herbal and spicy notes as well. I really like this snuff, but it’s not for everyone. I hear some people find it too strong and long lasting, which I understand. Here’s a hint: if you like Fribourg and Treyer florals, chances are, you’ll like this one as well. Medium nicotine content.

One I haven’t tried. Sounds like I should.

It is the best Indian snuff IMO. I don’t use it often, but I always have some in my collection. Himalaya is in second place for best Indian snuff.

As I recall, Uncle Squinty likened Taj to “the bedroom, post coitus”. LOL

Had a pinch late last night. I stand by my previous comment. It is a wonderful snuff that has no equal in the category of Indian scented snuff.
