When I first tried this snuff it all but killed me because I took to big a pinch. Now, after I’ve introduced my nose to it carefully, I never want to be without it, ever!! I still cannot describe the taste, maybe some cloves, maybe something sweet, maybe HDT or maybe only secret Indian ingredients. Whatever, I now use it as an all day snuff at least once a week, it’s a beauty which I will recommend to every seasoned snuffer.
Anyone know if manjul and the other dholakia snuff’s names have some kind of translation? Whenever I read manjul I think of Apoo’s wife, from the Simpsons.
Its all got the potential to blow your head, I love Dholakia but snuff it very lightly
I was just told by the distributor that my order of Kamal, Mangul, and some of the other Dholakia snuffs are being shipped on Monday from India. Probably take another 10 years to get here. LOL Tom NicotineRush.com
and the young girl on the ganga label is their daughter.
kamal is the lotus flower. Ganga is a goddess that there is a little creek named after (may have heard of it the ganges river)
Let’s ask Namrata !
yes GANGA is our national river.in india we pray to our rivers as it is life line and also believe rivers as our godess. kamal means lotus our national flower. picture of girl on ganga is my daughter, now grown in to beautiful lady. this was discussed long back but all my fellow friends are having good sharp memories…well done 10 on 10. thanks you all.
well backdoor, do you think india is that far…takes 10years to ship DHOLAKIA SNUFF? i think you made some mistake…it will take 10days. please refer to you post.
Namrata, I was being facetious! I was NOT being serious and I was not referring to you. I was referring to the US Customs Dept Tom NicotineRush.com
thanks backdoor…!!!never think negative…
I already knew about ganga. You taught me about kamal which is a great assana which I’am currently sitting in very calming especialy with a pinch of ganga. P.s. bakdoor don’t forget about the new roads in India one of the most amazing road constructions of all times (actualy may pale the american highway system soon).
so I’m curious bob… I used to practice a few asanas and (though I won’t claim any degree of accomplishment), I can’t find a Kamal asana. Maybe a pointer to that one. Thanks,
lotus. That’s what I meant. you know the most popularly known one.
Oh, ok… because there is a camel pose (Ustrasana)… so you had me confused. The lotus is called Padmasana. I very much like the Dholakia Kamal. Took me a bit, but it’s strangely intoxicating. I always find myself going back for more. Since this thread is about Manjul, I really like that one too. There is (btw) no kamal pose.
it was a silly attempt I guess. at refrencing the lotus postion. Just for fun.
I sniffed a lot of Manjul during the weekend…the more a sniff this snuff, the more I want. And it’s not so strong anymore. I just love this snuff because it unique, there is nothing to compare it with.
I remember when I first tried Manjul, that I couldn’t get it out of my nose and me and a friend had had a few pints and our noses full of Manjul and we were high as kites. I don’t know whether it was the beer or the snuff but both together were magical. I’ve got to try that again sometime. Stefan
