Dholakia Black Snuff

Did any of our members succeeded in getting more of this snuff? I would like to order some more but don’t know where.

Its now available at snuffstore.de, and also a new variety: Blast Natural … I have ordered 3 tins today.

Got it there as well and also 3 tins of each. Unfortunately, I never received the Dholakia bag, so I´ve just had the Black snuff now for the first time and I must say, though I´m through nearly 200 different snuffs, there still are very nice surprises. The ease at sniffing this very finely ground tobacco is nearly frightening. Somehow it doesn´t feel “right” to not get it beyond the nose, but there you are. Simply fantastic.

anybody here old enough to remember the teeth brushign red dye tablets they gave kids (to see how well or not you brushed your teeth?) thats what this snuff reminds me of, its like another training tool – since its like a black tar if you can successfully get it in your nose instead of on your nose and below your nose etc etc, you’re doing it (got y oru snufffing technique) right and if you don’t this is the snuff that’ll make it clear for you. I’m getting there. its also an enjoyable snuff for its snuffing qualities.

loved those tablets when i was kid. I’d purposely ignore my canine teeth and brush the others really well because i liked how it looked.

I remember them well. One of my fond memories of primary school, just as Dholakia black si one of my fond experiences in snuffdom.

Just got my first tap box of Dholakia Black, and I find it hideous! It smells like mud and vomit. It’s also very dry; when I shake the tap-box it sounds like little rocks in there. No more for me, please!

I got this one about a month ago, and the first time I tried it, I was completely turned off, I thought I had a poopy. Glad I tried again the other night, started with a fresh snout. It is interesting, funky as can be, but it is very good in many ways. I guess it depends on the mood. I usually take to most snuffs right away, this one was a trip. The blowout is scary though.

@sprangalang, Reminds me a little of when I lived on my Aunt and Uncles farm the smell of the horse stalls but it is a good kind of funky after you get used to it.

I love this stuff. i use it up pretty quick, as I only got a four-gram tin, but the really dark color drew me in. It did go great with White, too. The best part, in my opinion, is that it is very dry, while still somehow being chunky, unlike most other snuffs.

smelled lie vomit to me…

The First time I tried the Dholakia Black Snuff I almost gagged & vomited no joke I really had to resist the impulse to puke! It took a few times to get adjusted to the scent, now I think Its all right for a now and then snuff, it has strong barn house scent and provides a good nicotine hit.

I’ve really gotten to like this snuff, in spite of the heavy drip factor and the delicate scent of horse manure! The flavor stays for a long, long time, and the nicotine is very satisfying.

Dry ? I just received a 25gr Tin yesterday, and it’s not dry at all ?

So it IS supposed to be rank? I tried some and it tasted like rotting cheese. I thought it “expired” or something …

yes, it’s supposed to be a little moist…feels very soft like silk, love it!

Dholakia Black will be available on Mr Snuff in a few days. My shipment is clearing customs as I type. Thanks Dave

Reminds me of visiting to FFA Barn at the State Fair. For me that is a good thing, it’s where a met both my ex-wives. Both had dark complexions (one was a Pig the other was a Cow). But I loved them both!! Now I can smell them but don’t have to feed them.

I really like this Black. The horse manure smell I don’t get, but I do get a farm like smell. Funny, I get the same exact scent from the SG Blue Crest, but a little less of it. Still, the D. Black is super fine and to me, super easy to take. The nic is absorbed really fast, and it stays in the front of my nose. I’ll have to order this in a larger size next time.

I am wondering if Dholakia Black has changed a bit since this thread was started because there were quite a few members really disliking the Black. I really like it but this snuff and most Schmalters, I reserve them for home use only. Maybe if I worked in a coal mine I could use it without getting funny looks but that is not the case. My batches have been earthy and rich with no odd barnyard scent. The grind and texture are real nice but again, it is so messy. Otherwise a top notch snuff.
