I would love to hear some opinions of Dean Swift’s Dr Johnson. I haven’t gotten around to opening my can yet, and wondered what I’m about to get into.

I find it remarkably similar to Wilsons SM Gold.

I opened a tin for the first time yesterday and it was dry as hell, but the flavour was still quite potent so I think this is how it’s meant to be. It’s a pretty good medicated snuff but the grind + moisture combo lets it down a bit for me.

Mine was a little dry too. If the information WoS provided is accurate, it was at least 5 years old when it was opened, as they claim not to have been contracted to make any Dean Swift in that time.

I agree with @Xander. It is very dry. I notice some pepper in it and maybe some eucalyptus there as well. It is very strong!

The flour is same/similar to WoS snuffs, I get peppermint + eucalyptus, very similar to Dean Swift Beozar minus the aniseed.
