So, I had a small can of Dholakia White that I gave to a friend in a moment of generosity (he was a fan of Rooster and Bruton’s) and I needed to re-up. But, the new one I’ve received is just plain tobacco (dust), and that subtle fragrance described by some as “fishy” and by others in less polite terms isn’t there. Is it possible this can is a bit stale or maybe even too fresh? It seems ever so slightly darker in color as well. Is this just a new formulation by Dholakia? Have any recent buyers noticed this as well? Curious…
Yes darker and maybe a bit less fishy. The first cans I had of it was white almost, pale yellow at least. I think the 50g cans are better, they have the screw on lid.
This is one I buy in bulk, decant into smaller air tight jars, I don’t particularly use it for the scent as much as employ it for the nicotine . Batches change because of the yearly crop. Still a high quality product. And a great mixer to bump up the nic hit.
Also; unopened 50g cans go in the freezer, I have one opened in the fridge and I only scoof out a coule of grams to my pinching can(1/2 oz) at a time. I’ve found this helps a lot with containing the DW flavour, which is absolutely my nr 1 in the snuff world and has been for years.
After doing a little research around here, I think 6 Photo Cheetah may be the white Indian snuff for me. I’ll have to give it a shot on my next order. Can anyone describe the scent?
I heard it smelled like nag champa incense [I never had that incense] . I get a floral perfume scent. Cheetah is a little more challenging then D white I think it is equal to FUBAR willie pete in grind. 6 P super chetak has a decent kick with a musk background also lightly mentholated
