Cure for the Common COld

A few weeks ago my oldest son caught a wicked cold. Then last week my wife caught it. She still has a nasty cough from it. A few days ago, I felt a cold trying to worm it’s way into my sinuses. You know, that funny feeling. I immediately snuffed up several big pinches of Wilsons SP and continued through the morning, then switching to my pipes in the afternoon and evening. I even imbibed with a tad too much alcohol that night, and woke up - with no cold. It was foolish of me to over-drink, usually that would help the virus succeed. But not this time. I fully believe the snuff killed the viruses in my sinus, and left me in great shape. Whoodathunkit? I should have had the wife take some when she started to catch it, but I am sure she would be repulsed by the whole idea (I snuff on the sly at home).

I make an insecticide spray using a tea made of Skoal moist snuff (lip tobacco). You take a couple good 2 finger dips worth of Skoal and put into pantyhose or tea bag and soak it in a bucket of hot water. Then put this tea into a pump sprayer. I use it religiously in my vegetable garden. It works great. Just spray all the veggies, plants and areas around them. Kills just about anything that crawls, jumps, runs, flies, or slithers. You just have to wash everything down in a couple hours to remove all the dead bugs and to get rid of the smell. I have used this method for the last 4 years and have yet to have a problem with bugs in the vegetables. Works great for roses as well.

tobacco kills germs. Plus it keeps the nose flowing too. All which help with colds. The main reason tobacco smokers or dipers have bad breath is that the tobacco kills the naturaly occuring microorganisms in your mouth (which kill off the stinky bacterias.)

Well most smokers breath I have smelled just smells like a dirty ashtray from the cigarette itself, & from the smoke & smell of smoke being in the lungs. So does that mean milk or coffee kills these bacteria as well? To me there is nothing worse than milk or coffee breath. UGgghhhhh. Of course milk is supposed to be good for your teeth but it also causes cavities from the bacteria if its left in the mouth

Folks just need to brush their teeth more often if you ask me; and learn to use the tongue scraper. Though, anything too caustic will just make matters more difficult to manage over time.
