Is there such a thing?

I don’t think I would like that. It would be like having a curry house follow you round all day.

You may be able to make your own. Get some base tobacco like QSnuff Natural, or Toque Natural. Take whole cumin seed and press them without completely crushing, then drop them into your tobacco. Seal it up for about a month, and then try a bit. If it’s what you like, simply sift or pan out the seeds and snuff your self to vindaloo heaven…

I made some caraway scented snuff once. Interesting to say the least.

There is no cumin flavoured snuff comercially available. As suggested, experimentation might be the way forward if you really want some - and blending your own is a lot of fun. Might be time to make some snuff from scratch?

Cumin seeds are of course, as mentioned, best when crushed fresh rather than using pre-ground.  However, toasting them prior to use is also imperitive.  This seems to concentrate the flavor.  I’m now thinking that this may work best also with a toasted snuff.  I’ll keep watching this thread to see if anyone’s experiments may yield success.

Its either cardamon or cumin that is mildly poisenous taken in large amounts. A work mate made himself pretty sick when he got into the habit of sprinkling large amounts on his food - it may be worth while checking.

@Snuffster I think it must have been something else. Nutmeg maybe?

A

No, it was one of those two - maybe he was just allergic

Thanks everyone. I might give it a whirl myself.
