So i’ve quit taking Poschl snuffs… they make my nose drip all night. I tried WoS and I really like it, but for whatever reason i’m sneezing the next day like crazy… what gives… do i just need to keep snuffing until my nose is used to it?

I don’t know why you sneeze the next day unless you’re having an allergic reaction.

I havent snuffed all day either… well I guess I can try it some more before I give up… I don’t mind the nasal drip so much the next day but the sneezing fits…

I could always take claritin and see if the issue goes away as well…

I rarely sneeze, but as far as I know, some beginners have violent sneezing fits the first few times. Keep on trying, also experiment with different snuffs.

Well i’m going to take claritin for a few days. and Avoid the snuff… and try, try, try again… I think it’s leaning towards allergic reaction which is a shame. I can’t smoke in the house and well snuff was letting me get some Vitamin N indoors…

Have you tried Snus?

I sometimes get sneezing the next day too. I think in my case it’s just bits of tobacco drying out overnight and giving the nose a bit of a tickle. If it’s just sneezing and no other signs of irritation, I wouldn’t get too concerned just yet. If you start putting snuff up your nose that you’re body isn’t used to, there’s going to be a settling in period.

me too if i dont clear out in the shower, its snuff breaking up and tickling. i reckon your nose will get used to it, if not, a quick clearout involving moistening the snuff up there should help. Wos dries out faster than say poschl.

So I took a break from snuffing for a little while. I watched some cool videos by SnuffBegins who suggested trying fluffier snuffs. I have some Snuff Store snuffs that meet that criteria. I started out by just rubbing the snuff in my nose, no sneezing. And i’ve got the pinch down now too… I just enjoyed some Golden Pinch… wow that is some good shit. No sneezing here, just a nice buzz… I really like the English snuffs without the menthol. I want another pinch now!

Maybe try something more natural, not that either of those two are not natural. But it may be the scents they use. So, just some thick unflavored variety may be something to consider. Or a nice smooth Bernard snuff maybe.
