So ive seen a few ppl on other sites mostly, talk about snuffin Copenhagen, i gather it got a ton of nicotine in it, but how bad/safe it putting this up ya nose. If already been informed on the forum, that not all smokeless tobaccos labled ‘snuff’ are actual snuff for ya nose. So whats you guys opinion on stuffin Cope up ya nose ?
Well I guess if your out of nasal snuff, It be good in a pinch. I would rather put it in my lip. It is rather moist and the grind is max gros
I’m with basement_shaman on this one. I’d rather pack my lip with it. I can’t even imagine trying to snort it. [-X
not enjoyable. Though if you really are desperate leave the tin open and let it dry out a little bit first and that should be easier to handle (you’ll also get to see how much of the volume of snuff is water.)
Yeah i still got close to 3oz of w.e. so not needin to find a sub was more of a curio i guess. So what make chew like Redman, Beachnutt, etc good for home made snuff? Im far from a tobbaco buff, long time smoker thats about it, just now gettin into all the diff options. But wouldnt the chews have the same additives as the dips? (Read on one of these post round here it was great for home made snuff…think it was on this forum atleast :-? ) Sorry for all the noob questions guys. (Extra sorry if im postin this on the wrong topic page)
Yuck seriously? I’ve only seen KIDS do this on YouTube and they PROBABLY only do it ONCE
Lol, i seen the video of the guy that snorted a big ol line of snuff, maybe it wad cope…dude looked like her was gona fall over dead But hell first time i ever seen someone snuff anything, it was a co worker and i swear he was snuffin wintermint skol, unless it was just his snuff carring can. But i thought that was nuts …
@dvsfaust: I think that was Bruton. My pet theory is that Cope used to be somewhat less wet and coarse & more like the SG snuffs like Black Rappee and London Brown in terms of moisture and grind. It was originally meant for the nose, though I’m guessing it has evolved as oral use became predominant.
Hell people dip scotches, so if you can sniff cope more power to ya. I imagine you have to blow it out often. I know one guy that sniffs cope fine cut. I tried it but it not my thang. Some people grind pipe tobacco and cigars & snuff it ; To each their own. I just use the finished product for it’s intended purpose.
cope is named after a city where people used snus. so …
I base my pet theory primarily on the use of the word “snuff” on the can.
Snus has in the past also been used nasally. It boils down to a matter of preference.
snuff on the can doesn’t mean anything in this case. Snus was orginaly nasal snuff untill people started pasturizing it. And snus is just another word for snuff. At first snus didn’t have so much added water.
