I want to try a coffee scented snuff and was wondering what would be two good ones to try?
There are a few out there … I like Wow Coffee Bite, GH Tia Maria … and a few others are Wilsons Irish Coffee and Coffee Cream … Toque’s Espresso … SG Black Coffee … couple others … but Tia Maria and Coffee Bite are my favorites.
try them all eventualy they’re all diffrent enough to justify it.
I see you like six photo so Wow coffee bite is that type of grind and I see you like Viking dark So the Samuel Gawith black coffee should be to your liking. Black Coffee is in my top Five .Currently one of the five boxes I carry is loaded with equal parts WOW,SGBC.and Toque espresso; I couldn’t decide what to load the box with this was the solution
I really like the Black Coffee from Sam Gawith. The coffee aroma is strong but it does not displace the tobacco. It’s nice.
It’s been a while since I’ve had WoS coffee cream, but I remember it wasn’t straight up coffee flavor. I liked it as it was quite sweeter than coffee. Otherwise the only coffee flavored snuff I’ve tried is toque espresso. It’s a pretty straightforward cofee flavor, and typical fairly fine toque grind.
The SG Black Coffee is spot on for pure, dark grind flavor. The WoS Irish Coffee is another matter. To me there is essentially no real coffee flavor at all. Not saying it is bad, but if looking for coffee flavor take another ship…

I’ve tried the Café Noir, supposedly thats the legendary Smith’s Café Royale under another name. I remember it having a very strong coffee scent, but since don’t like coffee much, it did not impress me.
Cafe Noir is very similar to SG Black Coffee, in fact I think its just SG Black Coffee with extra flavourings added or maybe even mixed with another snuff. Either way I love them both, they’re the best coffee snuffs around imho.
I enjoy getting some Tom Buck, putting it into a wooden container (large, thoroughly washed peanut jars work well too) with some WHOLE COFFEE BEANS and giving it a shake or two every day. In a week or so I have some GREAT coffee snuff. The thing is… you can choose your favorite type of whole coffee beans to make your blend!

snuffmaestro August 3: “Has anyone tried the cafe noir from snuffstore” Yes. It’s superb. Custom produced for them by Samuel Gawith’s, using the same recipe that used to be G Smith & Sons’ Café Royale.
Interesting mix I came up with the other day, which others might like to try - total contrast in terms of colour, grind and moisture, but Café Noir [Snuffstore] and Fribourg’s HDT mix 50/50 to produce something akin to a Java Americano [with an extra shot]!
I’m a coffee freak and bought Coffee Cream and was disappointed. It’s too sweet and round for my taste. I want an explosion of coffee in the front of my head.
