Currently I have a few tins of WoS and mc in front of me, but theyre too damn fine, too damn dry. I can take it, no problem, but I prefer poschl and jaxons grinding sizes and moisture, could you guys please throw down a list of snuffs that would fit the criteria?
F&T: Santo Domingo, Princes, Princes Special M de K: Pretty much the whole line except gingerbread WoS: Brunswick Bernards almost all except Civette Stock almost all All Braniff Sir Walter Scott: Mull of Oa Many Sam Gawaith
Also WoS Best Dark, Toque Berwick Brown and Coltsfoot. I find the GH range quite easy to take too
SG Red Crest and Sternecker Echt Fresco are a couple of great plain ones.
Toque Berwick Brown, SWS creme de figue, abraxas premium batch coarse, any Bernard snuff, most smaltchzers, SF black coffee, F&T santo domingo, taxi red and blue, NTSU (any).

In my book, Viking Dark counts as coarse and moist. Probably really medium/medium, but easy to take and a damn good snuff.
Im gonna have a long argument with myself to find out what to tale. Can you guys recommend a strong menthol too? By strong menthol I mean at least poschl strength.
@lunecat BUT BUT BUT BUT menthol is what made me use snuff to begin with. Ozona president, gawith apricot, GLETSCHERPRISE!!!ACHTUNG, MENTHOL OVERDOSE! In english., i need my menthol, in international: ATSCHOOO breeeaaaaaathe! I got allergies, stuffed nose…tried just a bit of menthol, like jaxons cherry menthol, but the menthol wasnt enough, did nothng for me.

GH Eucalyptus; not menthol but will help with allergies and no menthol hangover

There a lot of good strong menthols available. Hedges L260, 6P No 666, or WoS Dynamite all fit the bill. You can get moist and menthol with Taxi Green and NTSU Green.
OK OK OK OK in that case I recommend Abraxas Dragun menthol.
Hehe. Yes, Abraxas does good menthol snuffs for people who don’t like menthol. Personally, I like Abraxas Firedrac. But then, it’s not moist and coarse. And neither is the Abraxas Dragun that @lunecat suggested. But they are both good for clearing congestion, they both have hot spices that clear you without the menthol rebound. But you’re back with too damn fine, too damn dry.

This one is pure eucalyptus, but as mentioned by lunecat, GH CM is a solid camphor-menthol blend on very good snuff flour. If you blend the two, you can create a damn fine medicated snuff that delivers but won’t stuff up your sinuses with menthol blowback…WoS SM Blue is a good balance medicated snuff. Poschl snuffs are very solid menthol delivery systems, but they use mineral oil to keep it “fresh”. For some, that can cause problems. YMMV.
I never had that issue with poschl, but I can see the logic in it. So now its between cm and eucalyptus… or both.
I have both, so that gets my vote. You can concoct a medicated as it suits your current mood right in your snuffbox. I like it during allergy season with big spoonfuls of HDT to keep my nostrils honest.
Looks like I know what Im ordering next, gonna toss in red bull too… just in case
