If there was ever a more clumsy snuffer than I, I’d sure like to meet him. It doesn’t matter what I do. Tap the tin, put it on a piece of printer paper, use care in removing the lid…poof! Go to fill a snuff bullet… Poof! Try to gently spoon snuff into a snuff box… Poof! Take a large pinch and raise it to my nostril… well, you get the idea. So, what’s the most effective method for cleaning up the spilled schnuffpulver? Let’s presume that I’m not trying to save/reclaim/salvage the spilled snuff. I just want to clean it up more efficiently. Ideas?

Good ole hoover.

Nothing sucks like an Electrolux!

C

Yep! We love our Electrolux. Anyone that owns an Aussie Shepherd knows the hair they create, Electrolux tackles it like a champ.

Any other vacuum cleaner endorsements? LOL I use a Majestic Filter Queen, but the snuff quickly (QUICKLY) begins to clog the paper filter liner . Also, assembling the vacuum cleaner is a bit like rebuilding the carbeurator on a '72 Chevy Vega. Time to get one of those little hand vacuums or something. Thanks for the tips…

My mom has a “collection” of Electrolux dating back to the 1950s. They all still work! They haven’t changed the motor and works significantly in that time, only the casing and acessories. We have about 10 working models in all.

U

Wow! And I thought my Mom’s vi9brator collection was impressive. And, like your Mom’s Electrolux collection, the styles may have changed, but the motors are still the same…

K

Ya one of them sucking things like they said , Or compresed air.

That’s pretty cool!

I do believe that Electrolux served duel purposes as one of the original vibrating devices!

Get down on all fours and sniff that snuff off the Floor!! hahahaha

i have a mini craftsman shop vac that works great but now i am looking at getting a dust collection unit for use during the sifting process

J

@Cros =))

C

@joesnuffer whats so funny?

J

Honestly I have done that and yes it should be considered funny.

J

@Cros dust collection unit for use during the sifting process. It made me lol

Mom had a rainbow vac . You put water in the bottom to trap the dirt. You could also put fragrance in the water to put scent in the air. If you put the hose on your skin it would give you a hiccy. Back in the 1970 They cost a bundle

U

I guess it’s just part of the hazards of messing around with nasal snuff. the dust will be tenacious. Wow Basement Shaman…I remember the Rainbow Vac. I think we tried to turn a salvaged one into a bon…er, water pipe back in the Stone Age. LOL

I do all my “snuff work” on a clean glass table, then when done I scrape the spillage into a pile and snuff it, no waste.

U

@ Snuff Sniffer. Another good idea. I have a sweepings jar. it will be an absolutely ridiculous suicide slurpee by the time I fill the jar, but waste not, want not.

S

There should be some kind of small apparatus, like a vacuum cleaner that you can hoover up spillages with, and then decant the result into your box. I’m going to put this on Kickstarter - some and make me a millionaire with my all-new SnuffBuster ™ and (r).
