I have a plastic swedish snus container, with the extra compartment on the lid, given to me by @Supervape that I have been using as my travel HDT tin. I recently received some Viking Dark which was in a plastic bag and wanted to transfer it to the plastic container to carry around. Once I finish the HDT that is in the container, what the way that you all would recommend cleaning it? Would using just water transfer HDT scent to the Viking dark, if I used soap would THAT (God Forbid) flavor the snuff as well? Thanks for the help.

Plastic has a unique way of being permeated by what ever it had in it. I would think that soaking vinegar & water would remove the scent and leave it fresh

I don’t think the hdt scent would be noticable with viking. Now if it’s perfumed that’s a diffrent story.

Baking soda left in the container overnight seems to do the trick with my mixing containers. I wipe out everything with a handkerchief or paper towel first.

I agree with bob. but if you do taint it- baking soda or activated charcoal over night should remove any scents then rinse and towel dry. Kiddy litter or clay oil dry will also work

Thanks a lot for the help everyone. Nice fresh scent. Definitely worth it with Viking Dark.

Kiddy litter? Your kids are not toilet trained? =))
