been using snuff a few weeks now and ive sort of decided the ones i want to keep and buy in bigger quantities, im looking for a nice, strong citrus snuff to round things off though. id rather it was medium to coarse grind, with a strong(ish) scent, anyone got any ideas for me? cheers

You’ll find that most SP snuff have some degree of citrus in them. For stronger citrus I like McChrystal’s Mild Lemon although it may be a finer grind than you are looking for.

the grind is not a deal breaker, if its a nice citrus, im good with it

grand cairo, and im surprised nobody has mentioned toque’s offerings! lime toast smells a bit like urinal cake to me, but i like the other citrus ones, though sometimes they can be quite subtle. ill second the mcchrystals lemon ones though. as a suggestion, my favourite citrus was my jar of mixed remnants, overfill and snuffs i dont like, that i keep so as to avoid wasting snuff. i remoistened it with citrus peels and they imparted a nice scent. you could try this with any snuffs like plains, citrus, sp etc.

ive tried grand cairo, and i liked it, but was looking for a more straight up strong zesty citrus.

I second the suggestion by Firestarter0, or get yourself a small vial of the citrus oil of your choice and a base snuff that you like and make one exactly to your preference. http://www.edenbotanicals.com/ sells all kinds.

Tranter Finestrre(sp?) is another citrusy snuff I like. Not lemon or lime exactly, but it is nice if you’re looking for new snuffs you haven’t tried before. Just my opinion of course.

SP Scotch and SG Kendal Brown Original are my two favorite snuffs with bergamot; another really nice one is J&H Wilsons SP No. 1 as far as traditional SPs go.
