Hi Is it just me or does smoking cigs worsen the coughing you might get from the more aggressive snuffs? I quit rollies a few weeks ago and noticed I could snuff even DW without coughing. I also seem to smell the snuffs better without cigs. My pipe tobacco doesn’t worsen snuff sensitivity though - probably because I don’t inhale. At least I have even more reason now not to smoke cigs, not if it interferes with the pleasure of snuff.

Well to be fair and with respect, that’s a given.

In theory cigs would decrease cilia activity and mucous production which would make snuff less controlable and therefore potentially unpleasant. Also they do quite obviously make you less sensitive to various scents.

Makes sense.
