Chocolate

Paul Gotard’s Chocolate 7 gram tap box with a unique wedge shape at the dispensing end. Purchased from Mr. Snuff Grind: Medium/coarse Moisture: Medium Ease of use: Easy/intermediate Nicotine: Seems mild, but might be stronger. I’ve had a lot of nicotine today. This snuff has an excellent “nose feel” and stays well in the nose. The tap box dispenses frugal pinches of this snuff; a few firm taps are required to get a “dried pea sized” pinch. The flavor is a rounded, nutty chocolate. It reminds me very much of Godiva ™ dark chocolate, with a slight nutty note after a few minutes in the nose. The flavor of chocolate seems to overpower the tobacco a bit, which is fine with me. Nicotine seems to be fairly tame with this one, but this might be misleading, as this is a snuff one could easily overdo. It’s just plain tasty. Chocolate fans will be pleased. I am eager to compare it with other chocolates, yet to be delivered including Dholakia Swiss Chocolate, De Kralingse Chococreme and De Kralingse Choco. The chocolate flavor of Paul Gotard’s chocolate stays in the nose for a good long while. I am still enjoying the full chocolate flavor fifteen minutes after my first pinch, although it now seems to be fading. Nice! For my first chocolate snuff, this is delightful, and I am very happy that I doubled up on this order and got two 7 gram boxes. Also, did I mention the style and design of the tap box are modern and even a bit sexy?

Addendum. Today, Goddard’s Chocolate was my first snuff of the day into a fresh nose. I can now taste a vaguely wine-like tobacco flavor under all that chocolatey goodness. Actuallly, on second try this snuff seems much more balanced than it did last night when I first tried it. The more I use this snuff, the better I like it. Delicious and very easy to take; and remember, I am a relative beginner to nasal snuff, and if I can use it without choking/inhaling it, spilling it all over myself or sneezing it across the room, you can too.
