Inspired by a device his grandfather used to propel tobacco snuff up his nose, Persoone created a ‘Chocolate Shooter’ to deliver a hit of Dominican Republic or Peruvian cocoa powder, mixed with mint and either ginger or raspberry.Chocolate snorting offers new way to a cocoa high
Looks impractical and messy if you ask me. Why not just pinch the choco?

I’m sure that would be more practical, but maybe it needs a bit of technology to make it cool, funky and weird enough to qualify as a new trend.
Dose snuffing cocoa powder gets you high ? I eat dark chocolate in large doses; never got high doing so.

Well, there’s all this stuff floating around about chocolate having “feel good” chemicals in it, boosting your dopamine and ya da ya da. But I think I’ll just stick to HDT and White Elephant.
I get the impression that Dholakia Swiss Chocolate has actual cocoa blended in, which is what makes it so much better than the other choco snuffs, which are sauced or infused tobacco.
Well, I was making my usual cayenne - cacao potion this morning and happened to have my snuff spoon on me, so I gave it a try. I’m not convinced that it’s that special, but it wasn’t horrible. Curiosity satisfied, case closed. PS I just snuffed the cacao, not they cayenne. I wasn’t THAT curious.
The suspected feel good chemical is phenylethylamine, which is like natural amphetamine but it gets destroyed within 15 minutes by your liver so it doesn’t really do much. I’d imagine if you were to sniff it it might be boosted slightly, however it would still be weak especially in the concentrations found in chocolate. It would be neat to make a cocoa snuff though just for the flavour.
