Considering how well F&T tins seem to lock in scents, I’ve wondered if anyone has ever experimented with adding a thin layer of caulk or some equivalent silicone sealant around the edge of Toque screw tins. I know that they do a pretty darn good job of sealing scents in as is, but I can also get a pretty good waft of leaking scent from them. Just a thought

I wouldn’t recommend using any caulk. More that likely you would destroy the lid trying to get it off. But i can recommend using teflon tape. But the problem with that is you need to reapply after opening. Another alternative would to put a piece of wax paper ,plastic rap, or press and seal between the lid

Lmao @bigdaddysnuff I had to sign back in just to like that video. I could even add a few more uses for my caulk.
