How do I catch the smell of white or black ground pepper without actually adding it to snuff? It is acceptable when I add a tiny little bit to snuff, but the smell is then not as I want to. Adding more causes a sore nose, sneezing or watery eyes. I was thinking of soking pepperseeds in vinegar, take them out and add the vinegar to snuff. But I can’t find any experience with this method on the web. Anyone here?

I forget the maker, but there was a black pepper scented pipe tobacco I had the interesting experience of running across several years ago. I would guess alcohol would be a good solvent for the pepper oils.

one of my home made things is to add pepper essential oil to snuff. It is freaking awesome even if no one ever tries it. Just get some essential oils and put a drop on cotton ball let the plain snuff hang out. It’s great.

The straight black pepper is great it’s not an everyone snuff but the people who like it love it. It’s not what you’d expect it’s almost floral but like imagine a flower that smells of black pepper. Oddly men seem to like it and woman tend to hate it from my tests

I remember when my sister was about nine, in a precocious act of self-harm, she shoved two peas deep up her nostrils in a protest against some perceived injustice by my mother. My mother somehow induced pepper into her nose to sneeze and get them out. It worked. Is this pepper snuff of yours particularly sneezey, @bob?

I love the fruity taste of habanero peppers ,it is my favorite hot pepper. I don’t think I enjoy the heat in my nose though

no pepper snuff isn’t any sneezier then any other snuff. It isn’t the smell of pepper that makes it sneezy it’s the tiny dust particals of the ground pepper

just read the description of Rosinski Berliner Luft and one of the ingredients is black pepper: “Berliner Luft - the fresh snuff. Inspired by Berlin - aromatic, straightforward and fresh. A blend of slightly toasted Burley and strong Skroniowski. Supplemented by a touch of black pepper, which swings with the freshness of bergamot and menthol. Medium coarseness and slightly moist grind, also mentholated and fairly strong in nicotine.”
