I can’t have it all but what should I get. Choice A: 1 of each of the Poschl tap box flavors All Bernard Tap Box Flavors & The 50g Virginie bag All Big Bagged Sternecker and Poschl Shmalzlers SG Peppermint Dark SG Black Rappee SG Kendal Brown Original -Or- Choice B: Most of Sir Walter Scott snuffs Most Abraxas Snuffs Around 4 Molens snuffs Thanks just can’t decide. Just get scared keeping the non additive snuffs good without mold issues.
tough choice! I keep my choice B in the refrigerator or freezer and haven’t had a problem.
Definitely choice B. Refrigerating/freezing will slow/stop or prevent mold but I personally think it brings new risk to the snuff by possibly effecting flavor (and can, if not very well sealed, dry out snuff rather quickly) Just use a clean spoon when moving product from its original container to your EDC containers and store your original containers in a air tight environment then you will have no problems. I think most instructions about refrigerating or freezing snuff are assuming you will put your fingers in the original containers and thus introducing things that could contaminate your snuff over time at room temperature. I use Pelican cases for my bulk snuff and most of it is the preservative free boutique snuffs and I’ve never had a problem. For tins I also put electrical tape around the edge but for most items they are moved to airtight glass jars.
Choice B for sure!
Ok kool guys thanks I think I’m going B
I would go with Choice B also. And to be on the safe side put some on the side and refrigerate the rest just to be on the safe side.it depends on the humidity a lot.I lost a litle Abraxas Connoisseur Cerise due to this muggy tropical weather in Hawaii.so I keep it in the refrigerator.
B it is then once hopefully if I get breaded more in the future I’ll get A later on down the road.
I just saw Poschl on the one hand and SWS and Abraxas on the other. No contest. Go with B.
Nice thanks
Man wife’s gonna cut my plums off ? $$$ It’s not very often at that I have money to buy an amount like that but I spoil everyone else I guess,I need to spoil myself too. Got a lot of holiday bonuses and I’m putting mine on snuffs so it will be a SWS,Abraxas and Molens splurge.
@AlKindiSnuff, tell your wife to be thankful you don’t have a taste for Cuban cigars and point out the benefits of having a husband with a smile on his face, a good attitude in his mind, and nice snuff in his nose.
True true bro I just might go tell her exactly that. The cool thing is I guess I’ll get the Cuban cigar fix from SWS Havana Toast! Lol
Jakartaboy Still in Jakarta? I have a great friend of mine close in Kuala Lumpur
There is always next year for A .I’d pass on all the poschl [I tried most] maybe just one box Packard club and a bag of sudfrucht and a sachet of Edel Frucht,Red Bull as a honorable mention. Poschl is tasty but not much kick.
Schmalzlers don’t keep well long term best to buy and use while fresh.
Ok shaman thanks So basically if I use a spoon to dip into the snuffs with no preservatives and am snuff hygiene conscious they should last and be good for awhile?
Also my buddy’s Which Molens are the best ones in your opinions I can only pick 4 of those
My favorite Molens are Musinotabak, A/P, Oranjesnuif, and FCV 250
Don’t see the A/P on MrSnuff.com
seems to be out of stock, it’s pretty popular I think. Mettaijer is pretty different in a good way…
Do you guys think Bernard’s snuffs scent longevity in the nose are better than the SWS,Molens,Abraxas snuffs?
You can order direct from the windmill http://www.snuifmolenswebshop.nl/Webwinkel-Category-506013/Snuff-tobacco.html
Oh nice thanks
