when i want to find a review of, say, JR Justice, I get 10,000 mentions of who’s snuffing what today. Might we be able to search within each department? Or is it ‘operator failure’ again? Many thanks!

I agree, the “What’s in your nose” threads should be excluded from the search results.

We used to have a good search engine but now it practically useless

Here’s the rub: Vanilla used to have a search optimizer add-on, for some reason that’s gone. They might be working on a new version, not sure. I’ve added a basic Google search app on the bottom of the site. I suppose this will work? Edit: @basement_shaman that button linked up with an external review site that has gone dark (shocking).

Let’s make the snuffreviews.wordpress.com work. Start fresh with current reviews and add the older ones as needed.

Yes, the WordPress site has the potential of being a great, well organized, relatively impartial review site. @nicmizer It’s actually fairly new, the admin would just have to keep up with adding new categories as new snuffs come out. That said, there are MANY already up which have still not been commented on. You don’t need a WordPress account to comment. I think it would be cool, though, to start a seperate thread here where those of us who do have accounts there can list our corresponding usernames. Mine is restinginthismoment. As a (possibly inflammitory) sidenote, it does us no good to complain over and over about not having a seperate review site, when we aren’t contributing to one that has been set up for us. That’s not really giving it a fair chance.

@cstokes4 Many thanks for adding the google search facility. I’ve used it a few times over the last month or so, and it’s made searching the forum much simpler :-bd

I am the owner of the review site.
I don’t pay for the site so there is no reason it should go down, I had to do some maintenance awhile back so took it offline briefly. I used to check mrsnuff and snuffstore now and then for new snuffs, but some help would be appreciated, there is a “suggest a snuff” link on the site.

I’m not actively doing anything else on the site anymore except moderating comments and adding new snuffs if suggested.
