I have seen these around for awhile (dont laugh at me please) but have no clue to their function or use ???

lol mann i seen some really big ones! bigger then the one he is using, I wonder if these used to be for home or store use or maybe for tobacco shops? I just cant picture having one of those big snuff machines set-up in the living room,bed room or the Kichen! lol thats kind of cool though!
or find a collapsible model and pull that outa your pocket at a restaurant and start setting it up…that would be priceless!
This is a more sophisticated version. I think that you turn the handle then the hammer drops down and showers you with snuff.
