Just recieved a big order with many dholakia 10 gram tins in it. After having pinched 4 different scents (Aniseed Menthol, Sparrow cool, Medicated and Coffee Bite). They all have an underlying scent (not the base tobacco, me thinks), that I’ve also gotten from an old plastic tap box of Paul Gotard. My question is this: is there a chance that the scent I’m getting is coming from the plastic container itself?

Could be. Try putting some in a metal tin then compare it to the same snuff that’s still in the plastic box after a while. I heard that their Swiss Chocolate is much better if kept in a metal tin.

Yes plastic is permeable. Best to store in airtight glass jars
