I’m finding the chilli a bit to much which I suppose is it’s intended purpose so it’s certainly working. When I smell my FireDrac filled bullet there is a very nice (almost FOJ) scent. On snuffing I get immediate quite strong cherry which reminds me of Tunes cough sweets and pretty much immediately the chilli starts and continues to burn and I don’t really understand the appeal of this personally, even though I’ve just made a big pot of chilli for lunch so I do like chilli. I was wondering was there anything that anyone has added that could reduce the burn and maintain the other nice aspects. I’ve just mixed some FD with a little of the Dragun Menthol and that helps some but it still burns a lot. Perhaps with some Lundi foot it may work better. Maybe I should just use it in my next chilli lunch? Just had another idea. Some type of lemon citrus snuff. I’ve got Strasbourg or Toast No.20. I think I might just have answered my own question?
I had concerns it might be too much for me too, but taken in sensible quantities and with a nose of something already laden with Scotch Black or Viking Dark, the burn was a pleasant one (for me). I’ve not tried using it on a clean/empty nostril though.
Just tried 50:50 with Strasbourg. Ummm…naaaaah. Has taken the edge off the burn some and is quite nice now initally but the citrus has taken over. Hold on (live), yep it still burns a hell of a lot.
Really that bad huh? I am glad I squashed it from my last order in favor of another snuff. I will certainly buy it anyway in next few orders, wondering what bohica is like?
its my favourite! (the tub i bought, not the tub i got direct from Nigel). im giving many more snuffs a chance recently, but i still love firedrac. fubar bohica felt like i re-broke my nose though. avoid if you cant even handle firedrac. on toning it down… im not sure what it would go with, although @50ft_trad has the right idea, using it after another snuff, preferably a plainish one. it tingled first use for me, but the nose seems to get used to it.
I think it’s just good snuff with a load of cayenne pepper thrown in and I would have preferred it without or a lot less. Just doesn’t appeal to me. I definitely prefer nice scents rather than just my nose on fire. Strange thing is after using it I’m now finding the menthol in the Dragun Menthol stands out whereas before I tried the FireDrac it really didn’t and I liked it better that way. It’s turning into another bad snuff day. I also messed up my order with Mr Snuff and ordered their 6 for 5 10mg tins of Toque in amongst my order. It then turns out that the offer doesn’t count if you use the SHIP20 code which is not a big deal but then I find out that if I had ordered direct form Toque I could have got the same Toques only in 25g tins for the same price as Mr Snuff is charging for the 10g. I asked to cancel the order which I placed yesterday so I could split it up between Mr Snuff and Toque but they may have shipped it already? Time for a beer. Maybe after several I won’t notice my nose burning.
@I_snuff_therefore___ … Sorry to hear that…we will all have good and bad days… If life gives you lemons… Make lemonade… I was bummed out once, ordering from Toque when i was in my first month of snuffing… I ordered 25 tins of 25 grams each ( overlooking the 6 for 5 deal - I knew about the 10 for 9 of 10 gram tins… But just overlooked the other… Well, I sucked it up and lived and learned. But when I received the shipment, there was 30 tins of 25 grams each… Roderick and his Toque crew honored the deal anyway, and threw in 5 assorted 25 gram tins ( 4 which I loved ) Roderick… CLASS ACT!
Thanks @AANYCAARDS. It does seem that ordering needs more care. It’s not easy to change once the button is pressed. Are Toque giving Mr Snuff a bad deal or is Mr Snuff maybe adding to much markup? I would rather order everything together but there is quite a difference between the two options. I still have yet even to try a Toque. It’s not urgent. It was the other Abraxas and Taxi and SG and Viking and Babaton that I was looking forward to as well as the Toque but I could have waited a little to order directly from Toque.

People are amazing. What was the difference in the tubs? I can handle it. I just don’t really want to. I won’t be trying Bohica or anythng similar. I even had Taxi Blue in my order instead of the Red. I’m trying to remember what possesed me to order FireDrac. I think I hoped it would be some kind of really nice flavourfull chilli burn but I don’t find it so.

Abraxas. well, its more of a warmth i get when exhaling, and i enjoy the warm tingle, its not uncomfortable to me.

At first I thought is was because it was new ( I’ve been obsessed with other snuffs for days, but never this long.) but it has lasted for months, since I first tried it. I don’t get much burn, just a pleasant warming. Although I do get all over warm if I push my limits.

i find dragun’s edge to be because i think its finer/drier. i definitely prefer the slightly coarser firedrac. and yes, it was my all day, everyday snuff till i got a load more to try. im sure ill be back to firedrac all the time soonish though.

That is yet again amazing. I definitely get BURN. Not quite help I need a fire extinguisher but pretty hot and I’m a Tobasco Sauce fan but I don’t put it up my nose, well not yet. I wonder did I get some especially hot batch? I’m not going near it again for the time being as it kind of ruined my day yesterday. I have no problem with the Dragon Menthol and like it a lot in fact at the moment it seems to have taken preference over my long time No.22 Toast love but I am now a little worried about what you say concerning Dragun as I have ordered a couple of tins. I thought it was basically the Menthol version without the Menthol and if it is then I can see me wanting to order tubs of that.
A sad tale of “How Firedrac ruined my day …” According to my senses & all the write-ups there is more heat in Firedrac than there is in the Dragun range.
Good, looking forward to the happy tail of how dragun slayed the evil firedrac. In a million years I really couldn’t imagine FireDrac being my favourite snuff. That would be a terrible tale. At the moment I can’t even imagine having an odd try at it.
Ok I lied. Liar liar nose on fire. Just tried the FireDrac mixed with some LF and that does seem to dampen down the burn quite a lot to a pretty strong warmness but the cherry doesn’t go so well with the LF although it’s not to bad. It’s definitely more useable for me or maybe I have even got a bit used to the Drac after yesterday. Think I may try the Drac mixed with a bit of FOJ next. Juniper and Cherry. That might be really good. Just tried LF/Drac again now a few minutes later and it’s really good. That is a success. The cherry seems to have blended in better already and I can appreciated the warmth now and I get the lovely toast of the Lundy tegether with the warmth of the Drac. Definite result. You gotta love a happy ending. :))
Firedrac is a get used to slowly type of snuff.my nose isn’t use to having chilli stuffed up it so its going to hurt for a while untill you get accustomed to it.i like it but wont buy anymore.i prefer dragun.
