Is there anyplace left in the world where an American can still buy snuff?
After that PACT Act was passed you couldn’t get it from overseas.
So I found this place in Washington State called Lil’ Brown Smoke Shack where for a couple years I have been ordering from them with NO PROBLEM. I usually place a large order twice a year. I just called them and they told me they will no longer ship to NEW YORK State because they got a letter from New York telling them they can’t sell tobacco in New York!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???
Where and how can Anybody in theses Friggin’ States buy Snuff?
None of my local stores carry snuff any more.
The one store I found in the U.S. will no longer ship to New York.
Can ANYBODY tell me where and how I can buy snuff via - internet - phone - mail - AND have it delivered to me in NEW YORK STATE?
I think PACT only applies to stateside vendors. If you purchase from an overseas vendor the onus will fall on the stateside recipient. I’ve had no problem getting anything shipped to me. How can they punish me for trying to purchase nasal snuff online when it’s not available in my area? Zero demand for the stuff around here. Well, almost zero if you include me.
Pact is only penalising American businesses. Royal Mail has a contract with UPS to deliver its mail and this contract allows us to ship snuff all-over the USA. I put it down to greedy States putting tax before the health of the nation. Don’t forget the Senators made sure they were OK. They said Pact could go through only if cigars were exemp.t
It’s the elites thinking they know what’s best for everybody. Thank god for Toque and Mr Snuff. I know it’s hard for tobacco users the world over but on this side of the pond, where snuff came from, it shouldn’t be like this. @FrigginSantaClaus I feel your pain. I wanted to order dark horse but it can’t ship it to MI. Try the assorted section for bigass cans of scotch snuffs because it let me put those in the cart.
@FrigginSantaClaus Do you choose rather cheap delivery or most expensive. It sounds not right, but what i hear over and over again from people that expensive delivery works for them. In different countries, so i dont know if this may applies here too.
I always choose the least expensive delivery method from Mr Snuff and Toque. I have had the Christmas season delay but I have received a lot of snuff from both.

I am buying exclusively from Mr. Snuff these days. Seems kinda’ funny… me an upstate New Yorker and Mr. Snuff an upstate New Yorker, yet the only way for me to get snuff is to have my fellow New Yorker ship it to me all the way from Ireland!
Northern Ireland to be precise so as to remain in UK legal jursdiction. @Harlequin the really crazy thing is he used to be a Mountain Man (another upstate New Yorker, I believe) until the system crashed a few years ago and ate his old account, and all his postings. He became so dstressed that he retreated to the North Pole to assume the life of a solitary (un)jolly old elf. Oh, and to answer the OP, I can still buy snuff in my area but only scotches.
All I can find locally are some Poschl’s, which I really have little to no interest in but for an occasional sniff. My preference is the scotches but the only one I can find is W.E.Garrett. I want Rooster, Bruton, and Honest! Fortunately I stocked up before the pact act and haven’t run out. I’m going to order from Mr.snuff soon. I see many snuffs I’ve never tried or heard of before. I’m still very upset about the pact act forcing these suppliers to close up shop or move overseas. Wasn’t collecting some tax money better than none?! Idiots. Sorry to rant but the word “pact” makes my blood boil, especially because of the cigar exemption. ugh. I’d better go read a different thread.

Yup, Xander’s right. I am/was “MountainMan”, and I live upstate New York. I was off the board for a while, then couldn’t log in again, so I re-registered as FrigginSantaClaus cause I was so ticked off about that whole Pact Act, and not being able to get my snuff in the mail. And Yes, Harlequin, I do like to entertain. If you met me in person I’d have you laughing so hard you’d be rollin’ on the floor Pixxing yer pants!
