What snuff would you guys recommend as having the strongest camphor scent (ie. one which the menthol doesnt mask)? I don’t mind other flavours such as eucalyptus and maybe aniseed but I’m ideally looking for one with a good strong camphor odour? Cheers!
Gletscherprise has a definite camphor aroma.

Wilsons of Sharrow manufacture a camphor snuff - Camphor & Mild. As the name suggests, though,it is mild. You could always purchase a small bottle of camphor oil and add a drop to make it stronger.
@lxskllr: very off topic, but I just saw a new Edgar Allan Poe stamp at the post office yesterday. I thought you might like to know. It was pretty cool.
Gawith Hoggarth CM has got a nice camphor flavor to it, and the menthol is rather light.

ice-cool has got…camphor…flavor did any one tried?
I think CM is the classic camphor, also Jand H Wilson’s medicated 99 is heavily camphorated I seem to remember.
My camphorated is the Wilsons S.M. Blue.
If you are looking for a good camphor snuff, I recommend you go for Samuel Gawith Dr Verey’s Plus. There may be some other flavours in there, but camphor is very dominent.
Thanks for all the comments… Ill order the ones suggested shortly. The only one i’ve tried so far is GH’s C&M, which I like a good bit but it leaves a ‘chewing gum’ (I guess menthol) like smell in the nose which I dont particularly care for and I figure would be less prominent in a more camphorated snuff…
Sometimes I buy plain snuffs and camphor essentials oils. put a drop in the snuff makes a great camphor snuff. There really are alot of camphor aspects that are unfortunatly tuned out by menthol. Seems more cleanseing and less opening then menthol.
Dean Swift Camolepard has a bit of menthol in it but the camphor comes through quite well. It also has a nice sweetness to it like old timey medicine. the scent lasts a long time too.
I believe Camelopard is just musk & eucalyptus. But its been a long time since I’ve had any.
Well that could be trout. I got that impression from the name. That impression may have colored my judgment.
yeah its musk and lyptus
I’m almost positive theres some sandalwood in the camellepaord as well… i could be mistaken but i don’t think so.
no no no. Camels have humps and leopards have spots. So it must be flavored with humps and spots! I haven’t tried it so I can’t say for sure though.
giraffes are stinky. They smell like poop I hear.
