Buying one specific nasal snuff in bulk. Thoughts?

Hi guys, 1.) Wanted to know what you thought about a potential bulk purchase I want to make. I want to get either the 260g or 450g Fribourg&Treyer Santo Domingo from Mr Snuff. I intend to use it as my daily snuff. I find it easy take with not too much throat drip, and I find it packs a good nicotine punch. My only problem with it, is that it tends to fall out of my nose and onto the floor a lot. So I wonder that if I buy it in bulk will it dry even remotely a little in order to reduce the moisture and the clumping of the snuff, allowing it (even a tiny bit) to better remain in my honker? 2.) Have any of you bought a particular snuff that you like in bulk. Bulk in this case being 260g or more. If so, what did you think of your choice to buy in bulk? Were you satisfied? Many Thanks!

Yes, you should store it if it doesn’t already come in an airtight container. I use mason jars to store bulk purchases making sure to switch to smaller ones as the supply decreases to eliminate as much air space ss posible. As to the snuff falling out of your nose, try to pinch your nostrils after each sniff to ensure it stays in, you don’t really want a moist snuff to dry out. My bulk purchases are usually just SG’s Kendal Brown Original but I have a KB plain that’s 2 years + old and still as fresh as when I got it from the factory, so yes, Im satisfied.

I have bought in “bulk” from Toque- several Economy Bags at a time. While I tend to go through it very quickly, even alternating between different scents over the course of weeks has not resulted in it drying out. Even when I buy a dozen assorted tins and rotate through them every few days I have not suffered any drying out. One distinct advantage in buying in bulk will be consistency. If you are buying a few 25g or so tins every few months, you may find distinct differences in each depending on where in the batch it came from, or if it came from a new batch. For someone sticking to a single or so snuff, this may be more noticeable and could be bothersome if you jump on one because of something particular about it and then a few months later find its changed. Depending of from whom you order you may also realize a discount over smaller acquisitions, if just on S&H. If by chance you experience drying out of your snuff, I would suggest searching the several dozen posts here that talk about how you can save snuff that has, and all the different methods people use. But the best thing to do is as suggested- transfer/decant it to an air tight container and keep it in a cool/dark place.
