I know Poschl and Toque both sell snuff in bulk bags for cheaper than the by the tin rate, so I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can buy some O&G (or any other snuff) in bulk?

You can buy Sam Gawith and Wilson’s (Sharrow) snuffs in bulk directly from the factories. Both sell 1/2 and 1 lb plastic containers. I think the same is true of McChrystals.

McChrystals do sell in bulk. I’m in the middle of ordering 200g of McChrystals Clove only £6 inc vat and postage! just email the very helpful Ian at Ian@mcchrystals.com. Stefan

I too am in the process of buying bulk from McChrystal’s. 500g of Clove for me though. Ian was very helpful, superb customer service.

£6 for 200g is good value - is that for all flavours or just clove?

I don’t know what the price is for other flavors, but 500g of Clove was £15.

I’m thinking about getting 100g or 200g from Samuel Gawith of either Golden Glow, or Dr. Verey’s Plus. They are some of the best menthol snuffs I’ve had.

I have some Dr. Vereys plus (just had a pinch now seen as you mentioned it) nice snuff not tied the golden glow.

McChrystal’s will take a check. I didn’t ask, but they might take other forms of payment. You should ask to make sure. Ian was a pleasure to deal with when I was in the process of getting mine. Very very helpful.

The one pounder Wilson’s containers are extremely good in preserving the scent. I’ve had a pound of TB since the summer of 06, and it’s still perfect.

I just orderd (yesterday) a two lb. tub of Stokers plain. I hope I like it!

I hope so stitch. That’s a HUGE purchase for me. I’ve bought 100g bags of toque , but only after trying it first! Anything you can compare it to, besides navy, which i haven’t tried yet.

It’s Ok, I should be getting it soon! I was just curious what it’s like, compared to other snuffs i might have tried.

miamimark, You can see the first review of Stoker’s that I put up on this forum. It includes a photo to show the size of the tubs. You just had to search Stoker’s with apostrophe s instead of stokers without the apostrophe. Stokers Dry Snuff

Thanks TS, lots of good info on that thread. I can’t believe I bought 2lbs without even trying it! That’s like 900 grams. A few months ago i didn’t like commiting to a 10g tin! I know I’ll get to like it, even if i don’t at first. Now sparrow cool is one of my favorites and i didn’t like it at first. Ouch! That seems like a lot, considering you get 1 lb drum from Wilson’s for the same amount (1 lb = 454g).

Yeah I agree I get 1lb of Tom Buck for $40. O&G would be $37 dollars for half the amount…not happening here.
