Hi all, does anyone know if Toque send an email when they have shipped or change the status of the order to “shipped” or something? I placed an order over two weeks ago and have not received a “shipped” email. The status of my order on the website is “completed” … I emailed them about this 2 days ago but have not received a reply as of yet.
It takes right at 3 weeks for me.

Toque will despatch immediately. Being in the UK, I’ve never been waiting longer than three days, and that’s including weekends. I’m surprised you didn’t get a reply to your email. Paging @Roderick

I think completed means sent. I sure hope so. The elves they employee are very professional.

Yeah, when I ordered direct from toque it said completed, I never got a sent update. I also think that completed means that it was sent. Hopefully @Rodrick can clarify. Maybe if we call his name 3 times like beetlejuice he will come.

I’ve ordered directly from @Roderick several times and always received my order around the 2-3 week point to Western USA (Oregon, if you couldn’t guess). I believe completed means the order has been fully processed & shipped from Toque. I wouldn’t worry, Roderick is a good guy and I’m sure you’ll be hearing from him shortly.

My orders always show before the glue dries. 10 days ± to Washington State.

As my limited experience with direct orders from Toque: Package is shipped no later than next working day, delivered (note in my mail box) no later than 7 - 10 days. It all depends how quick its get sorted in central package post hub here in Prague.
In general postal services European countries to my address 7-10 days, postal services from US, Canada and Southern America about 30 days (and its spends about 14 days at customs), couriers services up to 5 days (from anywhere on the globe).

Thanks for your responses every one … I’m not too concerned, just wanted figure out if it was actually shipped, which appears to be the case based on the consensus here. I’m in Australia, parcels from the UK usually take about 2 weeks, unless customs get hold of it, in which case it will be 5 to 6 weeks plus $$$$.

@remi1au Did not realize you were also from Australia, yeah you would be looking at 2-4 weeks direct from Toque from my experience. Unless as you say its been stopped by customs then you’d add another 1-2 weeks after you pay. Just out of curiosity are you getting many orders stopped at customs? Also do you usually pay the tax or let them have it?

Hi Aamon, yes Aussie … Perth. I’ve only received 2 snuff orders so far and both got through ransom free, but they were from a vendor that doesn’t declare the contents as tobacco … which is nice 
Swedish snus on the other hand gets ransomed almost every time. I always pay the ransom because I’m usually without by the time I get the invoice and desperate for a nic hit
Thanks Roderick, I got your email. All good, it will prob turn up this week, or if border farce have it then I’ll get the ransom note in a couple of weeks. I will pay it tho … it takes too long to let them destroy it and order again, and compared to snus the tax on snuff is bearable as the weight is relatively low. The order I’m expecting is only 60 grams so the tax will only be about $50. 60 grams of snuff will last me months
My order from Toque took about a month. But I think that was because of snow in Turkey. That being said. It is worth the wait. Even that month I waited it was still super fresh.

My order finally arrived … 1 day short of 4 weeks, and unmolested by border farce. Not sure why it took so long … perhaps Easter? Packages from the uk usually only take about 2 weeks.
@remi1au I think it depends on the class of royal postal mail. There are some that come with a tracking number that starts with an “L” these come fast and provide real tracking. Then there are those that start with a “R”, I have found that those take a long time to come and the tracking is worthless.

yeah just mine and @Roderick has certainly got his snuff game on fully.
Toque’s very good for shipping to the States in terms of speed and postage. And of course, the snuff is fresh and delicious!
