Just got half a pound of this direct from WoS (which is a very easy process by the way; email Carol in sales and tell her what you want and its despatched) You just can’t beat getting it direct from the factory as the cannsiters are fresh filled to order. Burgundy is listed on their site as one of their SPs. Well, thats as maybe - its not what I would call one but who am I to argue? The snuff is lovely. Rich brown and a very fluffy texture when fresh that almost makes it difficult to pinch in any quantity. The mill feels very slightly course due to this. Flavour is superb; complex, floral notes, honeyish, spicy, old fashioned. It smells, as I’ve said before, of something that should be taken in some old coffee house or club in the 19th century. I bought a good amount as I wanted a change and this is going to be my day to day for a while.

I agree, Nigel, getting snuff that is factory fresh from Wilson’s is the best way to get it. I bought a tub of Grand Cairo through Nicotine Rush, it was about a week old when I bought it. My next tub order will either be Burgundy or Brunswick, I love them both dearly.

Yes, great snuffs. I’m loving the Burgundy more and more with each pinch.
