Never been a great fan but the ones Rodercik are selling are perfect for toasts and Dholakias, They are also very easy to take a couple of pairings of material off to enhance the chamber to get a decent pinch. All in all for the price you can’t go wrong - and the first bullet thats ever given me a proper pinch. Nice one Roderick.
The metal ones are also just as easy to pair a few lines off the chamber as above, and what a price!
I am pretty new to the bullet as a method but it really is great. Even if you don’t sniff from it directly, it is an easy way to portion some out for back-of-hand. And directly from a black metal bullet is my preferred way to snuff Taxi. I haven’t bothered to bore them out, but I have some 5g vials that screw on to the bottom for a quick refill. The vials work best with the plastic Toque bullets rather than the metal ones. Handy!

Another way to get a bigger pinch from the toque bullets (plastic ones) is to hold the bullet upside down and put your finger over the hole and put 2 to three full rotations worth of snuff in. Then when read to hit the snuff leave the doseage hole so it is closed flip the bullet up right and you’ve got a pinch two to three times bigger.

i used a power drill to make the hole in the toque bullets bigger
ive just put an order in for some from toque plus a blue metal bullet, it will be nice to be able to refill them again as i got a zuka black bullet once and although it looks the same as the toque ones, you cant get them open to refill them.
well I do share a number of traits with him. Crazy hair, pipe smoking, haveing an excessive libidinous, and being able to still look cool in a sweater. So it works
Never thought I’d get on with a bullet but Ive got this off now. When you upend it, give it a seies of sharp wraps against your palm or whatever and you get the pinch. The problenm Ive had in the past is you do the rotation and because of clumping nothing comes out, well you just have to be a bit more aggressive, plus Bob’s idea is excellent. With a wee bit of work on the indenatation on the revolving part plus the above they are really worth having, but having tried all different types of snuff in there now I think they only work really well for toasts. Its a great dosing system for the snuffs that are otherwise almost untakeable like Kamal.
I picked up a snuff bullet at a local head shop. I didn’t think I would use it that much but it is way nicer than I thought it would be. It is the kind with the amber vial and the screw on plastic top. I love it! I’ll probably be ordering 5 or 6 of these from Roderick.
I really wasn’t getting a good enough pull off the mini Toque bullets (id have to flip it and keep turning it about 3x to get a big enough pinch in there.) However, i bought 2 of your metal ones with my last toque order, and i must say they are very wonderful tools for a new snuffer like myself. The metal ones Toque sells release a good blast of snuff with only 1 turn per nostril, not to mention i don’t think they will ever break or anything. Not to rag on the plastic ones, they work, (although the cheese and bacon got a bit clogged had to stick a toothpick down there and mash em up a few times.) I just would rather only have to turn it once. It only cost me around 10 USD for the pair of the metal ones. Ill use them for years, they look nice, and very easy to refill (I use my car ignition key to scoop heaps into the bullet). In my opinion, its really a good investment. If you could rework the plastic ones somehow or maybe offer larger 5g bullets with a bigger middle chamber, i think it might be good. I ended up selling one 1g bullet of Toque Coke to a heavy smoker buddy of mine (the coke one didnt clump like the C&B) since i had a 10g tin of coke around. He was very pleased and will probably order some online as well. Most of my friends that have tried it really enjoy the nice burn and rush, most of them smoke ecigs now(ecigs are nice, i’m not knocking them) so its nice for them to enjoy a bit of real tobacco again, without the risks associated with smoking. The coke and blueberry seem to be the ones my friends/neighbors like the most, just got pomegranate so that might be a hit with them as well. I really wanted to try one of those automatik boxes from poschl (anyone have any luck with those?) Im not really a poschl fan myself, but the concept of an auto-snuff box seems nice to me. Especially for the fine toast snuffs, of which i’m a little green at sniffing without hitting my throat. If you have one of these auto-boxes let me know how it works for you, and if they break easy etc. Id like to get my hands on one.
I carry 3 bullets in my pistol every day. (Toque mini bullets) 1 toast. 1 menthol, 1 whatever I want the most of for the day out of my small collection. I figured out how to make them work for me. 1: Turn it upside down, in you left hand (with your finger over the nose hole, with the valve positioned to accept a pinch. Tap on the bottom with your finger to get a dose in valve. 2: Turn the valve clockwise to make the dose come out with your finger still over the nose hole. 3: Do this 3 times and you get a decent pinch. The problem is the mini bullet gets empty very quick. The good thing is you get to refill it with something else you like. Thats where You get to decide every morning what to fill your smash box with. IMHO- FWIW Ed
Even with toasts or dholakia in there you still get times when the does just doesn’t appear through clumping, I deal with this by doing the rotation and then giving it a few hefty slaps against the palm of my hand - seems to cure it. I woudn’t use anything but fine in there but for those they work fine.
