Anyone have any recommendations for one that doesn’t clog ? I bought one on eBay for 8 bucks and it feels very well made but I’ve only been able to use it like it’s made to be used a couple of times. The poschls do not dispense at all and the toque has had it clogged for a week. I do unscrew the bottom and pour onto hand that works but hard to do driving
If they have too much snuff in them they dont work right. Also if its a coarse moist snuff it doesnt work well.
Air drying the snuff might help. Tobacco is naturally absorptive of moisture in high humidity. With pipe tobacco a common method is oven heat at 175F. With snuff I’d guess 10 minutes or so… maybe less.
One of those little metal ones? Buy a 6 for 5 bullet deal from toque, they work better. the metal ones on ebay are for snorting coke. The holes are way too small. about the only thing you can get thru them will be toasts and Scotches some thing fine and dry. edm

I really do love my posh, but I will say the toque bullets are awesome for inexpensive plastic bullets.
Bullets only work well with fine, dry snuff. Moist or coarse snuffs clump together under the head and give those annoying ‘blank’ doses. Having used everyone on the market I would say none are substantially any better than the others, although some look nicer etc. It is possible to pare the dosing chamber with a craft knife to increase the size of the dose, but even with that it will still only give a pinch about half the size of a normal good pinch, so multiple hits are the way to go. The best on the market, IMHO, are the Toque ones - they have all the drawbacks but are very durable, look good and feel nice and heavy and are a good price. The easiest to ‘pimp’ are the plastic Mr Snuff types with a soft plastic body. Posh are nice and heavy but beware the screw cylinder - make sure its covered before you fill or else you will have to wash the thing out as the snuff will stop it working. The best way to use them is with a snuff like Dholakia White or a US Scotch - snuffs that you need to take smaller pinches of. With White, I get a nice, measured hit slightly like a pull on a cigarette in effect.
Yes i have tried using a scotch but still no luck. I gave up on them and just bought a snuffbox from mr snuff. A pinch is easier anyway, I guess the only time I would really use the bullet if while my hands were occupied, like when driving. I still have managed to get a pinch or two in here and there in the car though.
