As a service to the snuffing community we are planning a page on our website listing as many brick and mortar stores that currently sell snuff. If you know of any stores that fall into this category please let me know and we will add them to the website. They deserve our support. While this may seen counter productive considering I sell snuff online, I think that in the long term it is good for us all. The more snuff gets into the wider community, the more people will choose brick and mortar stores for some snuffs they want right now, and online stores when they are willing to wait a few days and maybe have a wider selection. Also the more people use snuff the less likely we are, as a larger group, to allow negative legislation. In addition if there is a store you would LIKE to sell snuff but currently doesn’t add that one too. We will call them and let them know that there is at least one customer in their area who would support them if they stocked the good stuff. Make sure you let us know which brand you want us to advise them to stock. Comments also welcome…

A while back I thought to do something like that for the UK, but to be honest it would be a massive task for one person and keeping it up to date would be a nightmare. I feel a wiki style approach might be the solution, with contributions from many people possible.
That’s not a bad idea ermtony. We have the ability to have a “forum” on the website. There might be a way to tweak that to make it a growing list of stores. I will look into it. Meanwhile we can have a simple FAQ type list with it split into countries, then states/provinces/etc then down to individual stores perhaps with some sort of google map link. Anyway, once we get a few stores to list we can play around with it. I am sure it will evolve over time as it increases in complexity. Thanks for the input.
wiki style… good call, Tony. So far I have found two stores that carry snuff near me. One had one brand, the other had two. I could list the names of the brands on the wiki as well. I still have a lot of stores on my list to explore, so I expect this (my own personal list) to grow.
Does anybody know how to set this up on Wiki? It is beyond my ken I am afraid, but I have a list of about 200 stores that sell snuff. If someone sets it up I can link to it from the website and over time (time permitting!) start adding stores.
I’d love to see your list Mr. Snuff, especially those in my area (other than the 2 I told you about). I guess that’s why I’m keen on this new idea of yours. Just picked up a tube of Carhart’s Choice at a local! First taste just a few minutes ago. Wow!
I’m investigating the wiki possibilities. Quite a lot to chew through so it might take me a few days.
I started playing around with the forum function on the website. It looks like I can set it up so we can can have countries and states set up as topics. We can then add shops to each “topic”. Not perfect, but it might do for starters.
I’m interested to see this list too. It sounds like it would be a great idea. I can only find one store around here that sells two types of snuff. I’m going into another local tobacco shop later this afternoon to see if they carry snuff, and if they don’t, I’m telling him to order it. He has ordered certain hookah sisha’s for me and clove cigarettes so I believe he could do this for me too . . . I hope.
