We have put a first attempt at listing brick and mortar stores that carry snuff on our website. it is in the members only area for now until we iron out any wrinkles. It would be great if some of you could try adding a few stores to make sure it works. We have listed a few to get it started and it does appear to work. Let us know what you think, and if you like it then give Patrick the IT guy a virtual pat on the back. It was not an easy thing thing to do! Any comments, advise, suggestions on how to make it better will be gratefully received! We have the ability to add pictures of the stores so if you have one of your favorite post that too. Also google maps is linked in for directions, which I think is pretty cool. you can get to it herethanks Dave
It looks good, although its a very short list. I suggest a list of snuffs they are known to carry on their details page. Around here I have only found three places (all with very limited selection) gave you the name already. I went to two more places over the weekend and found nothing.
We will be adding more snuff stores over time. However it is still quite labor intensive from our side. We are working on a way to import them from a flat file but no joy yet, so each store has to be manually entered. I was hoping you guys might try adding one or two yourselves. Even just one of your local stores would help. Especially if you are feeling adventurous and add a photo. thanks Dave
Ok folks, the store locator is now up and running. There is a new tab at the top, or you can click here. We have added 130 shops to get things rolling. It would be great if you could start adding to the list also. Someone sent in a store while I was out the office at a beer festival in Atlantic City (working our snuff booth before you ask!) and Patrick the IT guy lost the details of who submitted it. i suspect it was one of you guys: if so let me know. we want to find a way of crediting whoever submits a store. Please feel free to add any store that stocks snuff, anywhere, even if you found them on vacation. Also if you would like your local tobacco store to start stocking snuff let us know and we will call them to see if they will do so (with the incentive that they will get a link on our site and they have at least one customer ready to buy). Eventually we will list what snuffs they stock, but that is a future endeavor. Thanks Dave
