So I watched some boxing last night… Amir Khan looked good and made Devon Alexander look like it’s time to retire. Tim Bradley won that fight against Diego Chavez. Calling it a draw was a joke. Erislandy Lara continued his move up the ranks Friday night as well. It was a good weekend for boxing all in all, but it was kind of boring with exception for Andy Lee’s right hook in the 6th round against Korobov. Lee seems so awkward because of his lanky build, but has ground out 6 wins since the Chavez Jr. loss. I have one question though. Why does boxing still use three people sitting on the floor on one side of the ring to decide the winner of a fight? You would think that at this point in history that boxing would score a fight using the same technology used by analysts. What sense does it make to continue to allow for fights to be wrongly decided over and over again because the persons scoring the fight can’t even see the fight. I’m tired of watching boxing matches that have an obvious winner, but end up with a different result because of the archaic scoring system used.

It has everything to do with organized crime. Most sporting events do; horses, ball games ect! Talent or skill have little to do with the final outcome. Just be content with the event and forget it is fixed, now you know. >:)
