No separate Dean Swift category, so I’ve put this in the WoS category because they make it.

This stuff is quite extraordinary. It looks and feels identical to Brunswick - black, moist, coarse ground. But the scent… The first thing I got when I opened the tin was creosote - it smelled like the stuff you put on your fence. Heaven knows what it actually is, but that’s what it smells like. Once taken, there is more going on. It definitely has menthol in it - there is that ‘cooling’ effect, although as a flavour it’s not that obvious. The creosote (or whatever it is) is there too, but there is also clove in abundance. The overall effect is a bit crazy, really. It’s not going in the bin, but I’m not sure how often it will come out of the drawer. Still, if you have a little space in your next Mr Snuff order, stick a tin on the list just for the experience!

This is for sure a very special snuff. The scent is leathery, soapy, slightily sweet, herbal, and flowery. Not sure what the individual components are but I do detect spearmint in there. Not in a strong way or in way that would please a spearmint fan. More like a component to ad some menthol like effect. This reminds me of leather and horses when people are having a pony show. If you know what I’am talking about you’ll have a great idea of how this snuff smells. A definite try as I’ve not had another snuff quite like it.
