Birthday present from my wife...

Thought you might like to see this - it’s in watercolours - and about 35cmx25cm. She also did one for me about 25 years ago featuring F&T packs (including a tiny - ie about 5g - F&T tube) - i’ll dig it out and post it up. Jonathan

That’s really nice.

That is so awesome. I’m jealous!

Oh, that’s lovely - your wife is very talented!

That is very cool. Talent shows through. May I use it for a wallpaper? Happy Birthday.

That’s cool!!!

That’s lovely! Happy birthday.

Wow! Awesome! Happy birthday too!

That is very cool. Makes me want to reach into the computer and take a pinch.

Love it!

Ok - here’s the picture of F&T snuff (with a Gawith for scale) - bought from Cliff’s Cabin in Dartmouth - painted 13th April 1986. Note the extra small F&T tins - anyone remember those? Heres also a photo of them now - I never throw anything away - they still have snuff in! Jonathan

The small F&T tins? Yes, I have a dozen of them in an F&T box. They all still have snuff in them too

Those are very cool - the paintings.

What’s that can that says, “Extra Strong Menthol”?

The three F&T tiny tins are Morocco (still smells good… actually just taken a snuff - excellent!), Princes Special and Black Rappee (hmm both very dry - like ‘mousedropping’ dry - and flavourless) - all circa 1986. The other pack is I believe G Smith & Son (I was very partial to Extra menthol), but I could be wrong - they used to have a carved scotsman on packs - ( I think you can just make it out)… Ah yes Roderick, those were the salad days of ‘interesting cigarettes’… I really only used to smoke non-tipped - Capstan full strength, Players Navy Cut - I liked a bit of turkish now and then - but to think I spent the last 20 years smoking Consulate! Snuff is truly the most civilised of 'bac habits. Jonathan

Thats a great birthday present, I like it.
