I mentioned to them (not a complaint), that they mistakenly sent me Macouba which I already have some of, instead of Morlaix which I don’t, so they replied with a complimentary tin of Morlaix on the way. I feel kind of embarrased that I even mentioned it but I had wanted to try the Morlaix as it has received some good mentions and we all like to try new ones. I really hope I like it now after putting them to the trouble. Anyhow aren’t snuff companies great and particularly in this case Wilsons of Sharrow.
i can only like OR agree… but i like AND agree! the majority are great particularly manufacturers.
And the make tremendous snuff to boot! A perfect combination - great product, great service.
As I’m in the process of buying a fair amount of bulk from them this year, I’m dealing with them a lot by email. They’re great to do business with. I’m dealing with Tricia at the moment as Carol is off sick. Both are very helpful. They are a great company who make some great snuffs.
My tin of Berwick Brown was completely spoiled, it’s dry as a mummy’s toe and doesn’t smell like anything; I’m thinking of shooting mistersnuff an email about it. But then again the problem may very well have been that it came loose during shipping, or when customs maybe opened it, so I’m not sure if that’s really fair.
@MrSnuff thanks so much! I will do that! Love your store.

Agreed. Carol Walker (seems always to be the person I talk to at Wilsons) and Bob Gregory (one of the directors at Samuel Gawith, more often than not the voice at the other end of the 'phone line) are both very honest, genuine, sincere, helpful and courteous people. The sort a few other once-great British businesses could do well to model their customer service on.
=D>
BTW, @I_snuff_therefore___ , If you like Wilsons’ Morlaix, you should try the F&T take on that blend. If you wish to go to a heavier “scented” variety, F&T French Carotte is somewhat like the snuff equivalent of a good Yves Saint Laurent aftershave! I went through a phase of perfumed/floral snuffs a couple or so years back, and was bowled-over by F&T Carotte at the time. Likely to go back to the half tube I have in the 'fridge, when the spring finally arrives!
