Best Frontman & Singer?

I’m placing my votes for Eric Burdon & Timmy Taylor.

Richard Barr

No showmanship like that of Ian Anderson, from Jethro Tull

@MarvinLapsus - good call, but Freddie Mercury has to be a serious contender!

Nathan Explosion

Jim Morrison (The Doors)

old school-Robert Plant middle school-David Lee Roth new school-Mikael Akerfeldt

I´m split btween Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and Ronnie James Dio (DIO, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell), but outside the “metal” world I´ll sign for Freddy Mercury.

@Wulfensteinsson : I also thought about good ol’ Bruce, but I found him somewhat overwhelming! (I have always been a bigger Steve Harris fan).

Ozzy Osbourne- Can’t understand when he talks but he sure can wail out some tunes, I like his charisma and energy on stage;always jumping around and playing air guitar with Tony Iommi. These guys gave birth to heavy metal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clySTJtd81c

for a laugh… David St. Hubbins - SPINAL TAP, and before that, The Thamesmen (as seen here) …and check out John “Stumpy” Pepys on the drums. He is the most relaxed laid back drummer ever. John Bonhams complete opposite. lol …and yes, I know that the two above mentioned band members are actors Michael McKean and Ed Begley, Jr. Liam Gallagher of Oasis has stated that his brother, Noel, thought Spinal Tap was a real band and the movie a real documentary. Too funny. :))

I really like Maynard James Keenan of TOOL & A perfect Circle. Maybe not the most profilic frontman, but his voice, style & technique is really fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9MAg9E5K3w

Lee Brilleaux from Dr Feelgood, stalking the stage like an angry club doorman, completely self-assured, and Roger Chapman from Family (and later solo), just ‘into it’ - beware flying bits of tambourine and mic stand… http://youtu.be/BnUlfSMP9kY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4bqMUSV6lQ Oh… and me! B-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdkZu0H2Yss Just an old show off, really… :))

either james hetfield from metallica or dan auerbach from the black keys

I’m going to have to vote for Maynard from Tool as well… I have a feeling that in years to come people are going to look at Tool the same way they look at bands that are on a whole different level, like Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. Honorable Mention goes to… Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil Michael Poulsen from Volbeat and Benjamin Burnley from Breaking Benjamin
