Just to be a heretic, I know that there has unfortunately been some variation in quality, but I have to say that my all time favorite (perhaps in part because it was my first coffee snuff) is Samuel Gawith Black Coffee. when they are on their game and mix it properly it is a wholeheartedly dark roast coffee scent with no foo foo ingredients to distract your attention, like walking into a good quality coffee emporium and sniffing fresh ground. but, they have made a few not quite so grand batches that have squelched some of their fan base.
