Does anyone here have any experiences with bespeaking a snuff? I’ve exchanged some emails with the good folks at Sam Gawith (top notch customer service) about a special order. My favorite all day snuff is their Lavender Dark–too my palate, perfection in scent–however, the grind approximates fine cut oral snuff and I get it everywhere. On my shirtfront, desk, keyboard, files…it’s just a mess. So I wanted to know if it was possible to put it on the KB flour, to which S. Gawith readily agreed as long as I bought 500 grams through a British retailer. Has anyone done it? Are you happy with the results?

I got Roderick to make me Camphor & Clove using Quit as the base. It turned out great and I much prefer it to regular C&C (not a fan of the grind)

F&T for the win… always…

Ah. I haven’t found the lavender scented finely ground high moisture F&T yet. Maybe I should try Wilson’s .

I reached out to @chefdaniel‌ ( and no chefdaniel - I have not forgotten about this ) with an idea for a snuff to go “in line” with a cocktail I like to make. He gave me some good response and now the ball is in my court. I am currently thinking 1) how much it would ocst 2) how long it would take 3) how much it would make 4) what i feel the right exchange would be ( i.e. total production divided into shares vs. investment costs ) … All in all i think it would be awesome to have a bespoke snuff … I am sure before it is all over with I will make the jump, if for nothing else than vanity, because I love to hang “The HP” on as many facets of life as possible.

Toque Violet on a Quit base might tempt me.
