I just re-acquainted myself with my stash of Bespoke Christmas Joy and I’m now looking forward to this year’s holiday season. Hmm, very nice.
Yep its about that time. Days are getting shorter, its getting colder at night. My garden, grass & trees are just starting to show signs of fall. Before I know it, my power will be out & I will be outside snow blowing the driveway & shoveling the dang car out of the snow. And I’ll be looking at my bank account in January wondering where the hell all my money went.
I took some Christmas Joy with me to my local last night, as I sniffed I started to think how quick Christmas is coming round again. Well what do they say; It alway does when your getting old!
I got a fresh batch of Christmas Joy today and must say its a nice blend. However, I prefer my own mix which to me is just as good if not a wee bit better. One part Toque St. Clements, one part Toque Peppermint, one part Toque Menthol (optional), and just a very slight sprinkling of clove powder (go easy, it doesn’t take much.) Whatever blend or mix you choose, myself and Snuffy The Magic Christmas Leprechaun wish you a happy holiday season and good snuffing cheer.
I have my X-Mas Joy ready as well, been sniffing it on and off but will make full use of it on the 25th !!
My snuffbox was full of Christmas Joy a couple days ago. I need to lay off it for a while if I’m going to have any left for Christmas day.
I’ve got my Christmas pudding on hand, both the snuff and the actual pudding. The first to be served with Cognac the second custard. Oh yes!!
Its an extremely rich, dark, moist pudding with brandy or whisky in it and masses of fruit - raisins and the like. Its served hot and flamed on the way to the table by lighting some brandy on it. Served with brandy sauce, cream or custard. It has the consistency of a very heavy fruit cake. Some people put silver coins in it and if one arrives in your portion you keep it (and possibly break a tooth) The snuff is reasonably accurate in aroma.
snuffster your description is spot on. Excuse me while I go to the john.
Ha ha
lol, well to me the toque christmas pudding just smells like eggnog but thats probably due to me not ever having the actual christmas putting. Definetely some nutmeg in there though.
