I recently got an order from Mr. Snuff and have been trying out the different snuffs. One of them is Toque Berwick Brown and I do not like it, lol! Smells like a highly perfumed soap. I’ll probably order some more snuff in a few weeks and I’d like to avoid these type of snuffs. What should I not order? Don’t worry Roderick, I have some other Toque snuffs too, which I am enjoying. Lime toast is right up my alley.

Stay away from F&T all but their toast,no perfume there. some of the 6 photo have a soapiness as you dislike. You may not like florals like rose or any thing named after a flower. I like coffee so coffee snuffs are right up my alley I been disappointed on most fruit snuff only a few capture the true flavor. It is Schmalzler season so make sure you add some to your list. Good luck with your next adventure on snuff safari . Just skip all the shopping and go for Abraxas Cafe 11 it has coffee ,chocolate, and tobacco. What else do you need?

You Probably should avoid WoS royal georgeit has a soapyness to it as well

I really dislike Berwick Brown but I love Royal George. Also F&T Old Paris and particularly Santo Domingo are not overly perfumed at all, with Santo Domingo I only smell tobacco with a distant hint of violet. It’s not the perfume that bothers me with BB it’s the soapiness and the dryness/coarseness.

This makes me wonder if my Santa Domingo is an odd batch: I get a very highly-scented perfume from my recent tin. Maybe some of that “scent” is actually the dark tobacco showing through (I much prefer the Old Paris tobacco) and I do get violet, but generally I’d call SD very scented! I quite like Berwick Brown but it’s an occasional. Yes it’s soapy but I think of it more as a sort of clean leathery horse-ridey thing. I quite like soap though I concur with @jayson that @teleman will probably not like Royal George!

Berwick Brown is one of my least favorite Toque snuffs. It is just a bit too strong for me but ATM BB is in one of my daily snuff boxes mixed about 50/50 with Quit. As mentioned you may not like most of F&T’s offerings too much. Also take into account that our tastes in snuff do change and one day you may be singing praise about BB.
