Moist and medium coarse. It’s mentholated and scented with pine needles. The menthol is quite strong and it quickly opens up your nasal passages and freshens you up, preparing you for the wonderful pine scent that will be staying with you for a good amount of time. The sweetish Brazilian base tobacco combined with the scent of pines make a great combination. Excellent snuff! Medium nicotine content.
Thanks for the review… I’m surprised this thread is just being started. That sounds like a good description, but I gotta ask, is it just me, or does anyone else get a faint burnt rubber smell in this? I have a feeling it’s an aspect of the pine flavoring that is strong and for whatever reason reminding me of something weird.
I do enjoy this! It’s one of my xmas snuff to get me in the spirit. Couldn’t use exclusively but it nice to have in the pocket and easy enough for a novice to try if you’re out with friends or family.
During my first visit to MrSnuff I was just doing the eeny meeny miny mo routine and this one ended up in the box. Not an all day snuff for me but it works great for opening up the airways in the morning after a long day/night of indulging.
I have to say I really like fichtenadel. When I it back into snuff after a rather long break, I ordered this because it seemed so appealing. It’s like being in a forest all the time! And the hint of menthol gives it a nice sharp scent. This being said I had a sinus infection a few months ago, and ever since then every time I go near an oiled or menthol snuff I am clogged up within 15 minutes. Just tried my good old friend fichtenadel again and same thing. Blast. I’ll give it time because this was my go to daily snuff. Not to mention I have an unopened box… But all around amazin snuff!
I just discovered fichtenadel and must say I really like it. There are several different scents layered in there that really accentuate the pine and cool menthol and keep it from having anything remotely resembling a cleaning product. It really does put you in mind of an Alpine Christmas
Yes, it’s a great winter snuff. I have a tap box that’s three years old and it’s still in good shape.
